my plan was and always will be very simple. i just go out and be my self, warts, off beat s-o-h, and storys of a life lived like few others. i put my pics up for people to look at. i do not run and hide from anything. i'm not sure you understand the concept of that. | |

And men, by their nature want to save you from something. No. BOYS play that game. MEN want a whole, fully functioning woman who can love unconditionally and without playing games... and training someone like a dog is DEFINATELY playing games... and attempting or desiring to change someone is a game that GIRLS play, NOT women.
You see nurse, for all the garbage you are spouting... and yes your version is garbage... its obvious that you have completely missed the basic tenents of every eastern religion book you have read and that is: ACCEPTANCE. Eastern religions do NOT teach manipulation, they teach acceptance and allowing each person to find their own path in their own time. There is nothing in a single one of your posts that indicates that you are capable of accepting anyone as they are, but you instill a constant need to change (which speaks to your control issues which speaks to your own insecurity).

not quite the same in my opinion, but I do see the reasoning behind your comment..
I also agree that people do not need to be treated like a dog or trained as them either.
a lot of people in this world desire to live a lifestyle that includes this train of thought that this nurse seems to infected with ..
and when someone has these type of opinions as she does .. I have no respect for them either ..I just don't go out of my way to personally(sp) take after them if I was not the target...that's just me.
I can express myself when I feel the need to..

I would not call someone superficial or uneducated, I would explain it in more detail. ONLY IF the person was INTERESTED. If a person WASN"T interested that's o.k.. then I wouldn't, out of respect. And in the plenty of fish vernacular, while a little slang, it is true that you need to hook her before you can cook her. I need someone to define "pathologically obese" - huh? That's the one that complains that s/he didnt eat breakfast, has only a small salad for lunch and then goes home and consumes 10,000 calories when no one is watching and then complains because s/he never eats anything and can't understand why s/he never looses weight.
These are the same people that believe its a myth that more calories in than out equals fat!
Like everyone who is healthy doesnt know that it takes discipline and self control to maintain a healthy weight... | |

No, I didn't google it, honestly could not understand that term - never heard it used before.
But does make sense - know a few people like that. Have a friend the size of Rhode Island and she only drinks Diet Coke because of the sugar - am guessing all the grease she uses for frying doesn't count!!
Discipline & self control is putting it mildly - it takes strict discipline to stay on the healthy diet - really difficult to do when you're at dinner & the others are diving into dishes with sauces or sizzling steaks and you're facing a grilled piece of xxx or another lame salad!
As for the LTR......at our age LT really is ST (short)!!  | |

1) Height / weight tables
2) The ratio between the actual and and 'ideal' weight of the patient. The ideal weight in kilograms is computed by subtracting 100 (in men) and 105 (in women) from the patient's height in centimetres. A person weighting greater than 120% of this ideal weight can be considered obese, and those weighting over 200% of their ideal weight, as PATHOLOGICALLY OBESE.
3) The Body Mass Index (BMI, or Quelet's index). This index is the ratio between the weight, expressed in kilograms, and the square of the height, expressed in meters. On the base of BMI, it is possible to divide the population into several classes: (a) underweight, with BMI (kg/m2) lower than 20, (b) of normal weight, with BMI between 20 and 25, (c) overweigth, with BMI between 25 and 30, (d) obese, with BMI between 30 and 40, and (e) morbidly obese, with BMI greater than 40. BMI is commonly used when dealing with obesity, because it is easily calculated and there is a good correlation between BMI and the rish of death.
In short, about 90 percent of those women on POF are in this category.

Men, when you go on a date don't forget to bring your scale and measuring tape so that you can make an accurate determination as I have found that not all applicants are accurate and honest in their self reporting. | |

Ladies do not forget your measuring tapes either! You know if they reported they are 5'10", technically they are about 5'8"!! Remember - they are all using the POF Measuring System - measure plus 2. (Applies to other regions too)
My favorite are the ones who tell you they have a 32" waist - maybe - but I don't measure UNDER the tool shed - I measure around it. Pull 'em up semi Ed Grimley style and still tell me those 32" waist jeans work now.
