Posted: 10/23/2009 9:30:59 PM | in 20o3 i met a lady and dated her for a while; at the time I wasn't ready for a commitment, and made that quite clear. This lady was in dire striaghts due to unpaid alimony. Her and kids were in fear of being kicked out of their rental. Utilities and rent were way behind. I offered to help her (bail her out) no strings. I only asked that she pay it back when she was able. I had such affections and respect for this lady I gave her $900 to pay off what was needed; with the caveat that i would get it back "when she was able". As of now i might as well have flushed it down the toilet cause that's as good as it gets. Do women look for guys like me or do i have a sign on my forehead lmao
not gonna mention the $800 to another lady pro bono lol who offered to pay back but hasn't. a sucker born every min i guess | |

you got a good feeling that you helped someone other than yourself
plus you paid or a valuable lesson,..........always get collateral
chances are, if this person was that short of money and losing everything, shed obviously been living a lifestyle she couldnt support . so the change was in the works or her to elarn a lesson, however, you stepped in , paid her expences and learned the lesson yourself

Ive helped out frinds in the past and I dont really worry bout chasing them down and losing a friend over money.. If I have a bad feeling about it I just wont ever give/lend them money again... But one day you will be stuck/in a bind/having a major problem and watch the real friends will come through for you... trust me on that | |
