I didnt know I was coming till the night before and didnt have time to sign up in advance ... was a busy less than 24hrs for me prior to driving across the state .. I just assumed by the parties Ive been to on the west side hosted by rodney that someone would be at the table when we arrived ... the others I was with already knew people on your side of the state. if I ever decide to make that long trip again I will be sure to let you know in advance so u can at least look for me .. our best intentions were to arrive no later than 9pm but you know how things go .. ya end up running late .... and my being painfully shy in new surroundings doesnt help matters.
anyhow thank you again ... all the costumes were spectacular and the music was really good too. | |

There had been a mention by a member that photo's had been "dually posted" somewhere. Please understand that it did NOT mean ALL the photo's had been posted someplace "Public" other then the POF Photo Thread.
Obviously...the "poster's" wording was misunderstood and I want to make sure the actual meaning is clarified. What was meant is....the member uploaded photo's of themself on a personal webpage.

Posted: 10/28/2009 8:11:10 AM | I am the member in question. I had download two pictures of me with my guest for the evening to my Facebook page. Please note, no other party guests were visible in the background. I have since removed those pictures from my Facebook page, least anyone be concerned that their image was posted on another website without their permission.
Just a few thoughts on privacy. This was only my second POF party, I did not know there were rules regarding posting pictures, especially since I have seen event photos on several people's profiles. It does seem rather silly though to have any expectation of privacy at a party held in a venue open to the general public. Furthermore, in these days of 3G camera phones, the likelihood of having "unauthorized" photos posted somewhere are the web is fairly high. | |

The party was a lot of fun., a little too smoky.
I have a suggestion. We should limit the name tags and bracelets to POF members only. If some are too lazy to post a profile or be on-line, then why let the POF members get approached to find out they are not on POF. I can go to bars and other venues and meet people!
