What are you trying to convey through this gesture? Maybe the guy's not trying to deliberately "convey" anything?
Maybe he's just feeling nervous, awkward, and uncertain, and isn't really sure how to act, or what to say at that moment?
wow, and I thought that I often think too much. I think that's exactly what this is. Over-thinking.
It seems like the OP's over-thinking this too much, and trying to hard to search for some sort of deep meaning in what was likely nothing more than an innocent, unconcious gesture that had no deep hidden meaning. | |

when you say your goodbyes and you two seperate and after a few steps he turns around and looks back at you. Gentlemen - What are you trying to convey through this gesture? If this were me, I'd be checking out my lady's ass. Seriously. I'd only be doing this if I hadn't had a good look at it during the date. | |

I think men are difficult to understand. Men think women are difficult to understand. Centuries of literature, academic study, dating, marriages, and affairs have not changed this. No amount of further discussion will either.
Maybe years of “dating” have taught me that no relationship should be assumed to be serious, or permanent, or even a relationship. Actually the date means nothing unless overwhelming evidence to the contrary presents itself.
So I’m glad you had a great date. You enjoyed yourself and that’s what matters.  | |

Posted: 10/29/2009 9:03:20 PM | A long time ago I read something that said some people are wavers and some aren't... and I think it went on to suggest that people who turn around for a last wave were more open and friendly than those who weren't.
I hadn't noticed. But I started to pay attention. There are people who say good-bye and immediately go into what's next with their life... usually striding off down the sidewalk ensconced in their thought bubble. And there are those who linger and 'sneak a peak' before moving on. I don't know if it means anything. | |

Or maybe its the ass thing thou id prob say his wishing you had asked him back to your place for sex an his hoping you still will if he give you a cute smile an a sad lil wave goodbye ;-)

Posted: 10/30/2009 2:49:46 AM | It means he hasn't lost interest in you over the course of your date. Even if it's only to check out your butt, it's YOUR butt he's checking out! It could also mean that he had a great time and wanted one last look to stretch it out jsut a tiny bit longer. Take it as a compliment.
On the other hand, if he keeps walking away quickly (or running like the hounds of hell are at his heels), then it probably wasn't a good date. | |
