Will the real new features in Windows 7 please stand up

The thing is people are going to have to upgrade to Windows 7 sooner or later.

That's what really annoyed me having to upgrade to XP from 2k which has to have been the most stable machine I've ever had. Thank you Adobe Photoshop. It's a conspiracy I tell 'ya.

Well, I supposed I'll bite the bullet eventually, but as others have said, I've gotten tired of beta testing windows year after tiresome year. I'll wait until they drag XP from me kicking and screaming.

in saying "have to" earlier... no one has to do anything they don't want to do,eh?...there are always alternatives ....

I meant all new PC's will be sold with W7 installed ..so in general... we'll have to get used to it.... until the next version...

and then we can guinea pig that one.... ultimately,We are the users.. who better to test systems?.....

I think the W7 graphic management is sharper?..or something.... my pc/TV looks better quality with the same card/screen.. over Vista and XP.... I don't know if it's possible.... just seems so...

my W7,E7200/G31 rig has an 8600 level gui.. Vista rig, E8400/P45 rig, is a 9600 card....

though I swear the W7 "looks" better on same lcd screen...

Ok.. and a lot of those alternitives aren't supported by many software and hardware vendors that a lot of pc users have or use on a daily basis. So if the vast majority of your hardware and software is support by Windows only and when that version of Windows support is dropped from those software and hardware vendors, then you pretty much are then forced to upgrade to a newer Windows OS that is supported by those software and hardware vendors.
