in saying "have to" earlier... no one has to do anything they don't want to do,eh?...there are always alternatives ....
Ok.. and a lot of those alternitives aren't supported by many software and hardware vendors that a lot of pc users have or use on a daily basis. So if the vast majority of your hardware and software is support by Windows only and when that version of Windows support is dropped from those software and hardware vendors, then you pretty much are then forced to upgrade to a newer Windows OS that is supported by those software and hardware vendors.
