I know you didn't just pull these numbers out of your nether regions. And since you're a guy looking for women it's not at all clear how you arrived at these numbers. So, please, by all means share your methodology with us, "TheReason".

More of an estimation going by what I hear from women I talk to here. Thy are often surprise, and fine it refreshing that I don't "want to see their tits" and I don't "want to show them my junk", even after we've talked a while. Being "normal" really is an uncommon thing in these parts. I was always reasonably half decent looking and was always comfortable engaging women in conversation, in real life and otherwise. As I've said, this is all new to some people, and without the real fear of rejection or consequences in person, they can do or say things they never would, or never would have the opportunity to say "in real life"
Being as I can hold a conversation with a woman, and not resort to blatantly getting all pervy and sexual on them, they actually find it refreshing, and it even sets me apart from the crowd, if even just a little bit. Personally, I think there is a time and a place for that, and if we ever get intimate, there will be plenty of time for show and tell. Until then, does it really matter if I see or offer such things?
Nope.
It would just lump me in with the rest of the morons here. I had personality and charm long before the internets, and it still applies. This place isn't some peep show, real people are trying to meet other real people. If tits and ass are all you want, google is one click away. | |

I tend to think they're exaggerating how bad it really is. Perhaps they just tend to remember the obnoxious more than the nice-but-no-thanks sorts? The responses from females in this very thread have been much more heavily weighted towards the positive than the OP's negative experiences. Most of my own interactions have been on match not POF, and while those Women all have had some bad ones, mostly they too have been good ones. | |

That was the last date I've been on and while I'm thankful for his honesty I am also in no great rush to meet the next seemingly great match.

this is coming from left field OP, but that statement really made me think:
back in the days when i used to go out and drink and meet chicks, i've noticed a trend:
The higher priced bars had better looking and better refined chicks. sure, you may catch a stripper in there, but their dialogue, choice of words and subject matter always gave them away. But the chicks were genuinely interesting and backed up their looks with a heart, soul and brain.
But then in the cheaper bars, fat and ugly chicks were a dime a dozen, all they talked about was sports, what they watched on TMZ, who's dating who at the bar, and they thought buying clothes at Old Navy made them fashionable.

Ingus, feminism propagated zealous views..bra burning, over-opinionated etc, as a backlash against oppression by men. I don't take them that seriously. Not saying all are like that, there are moderates in every sphere. Anyhow I said at the start that women are generally more emotional creatures, and that also ties into their sexuality. It doesn't mean women aren't also interested in sex just as much as or more than some men.
But posts like msg 75's are evidence of those with a vested interest continually trying to keep the sands shifting in their favour by actually demonizing personal moralities and boundaries, subverting sex and reducing it to a tradeable commodity. Feminists aren't needed in this area, when a great gaggle of the male population are more than eager to 'push for women's feminist rights.' Whether intentional or not, to argue that is to use it as a loophole to get into women's panties.
They're perverts being that if they behaved like that in the physical sense, it would be classed as rape. That might be somewhat harsh, its an assault on the senses nevertheless. It's non-consensual. The OP did not approve of it. In reference to a proposition, in these circumstances they're usually tawdry but it might be slightly less offensive. Regardless of one's level of sensitivity, when the same result happens time and again, even if perpetrated by different individuals, it feels the same as harassment.
If they want sex, pay for it (prostitute). Or else go find a girl they want to marry and get all the sex they ever desired rather than treat someone like a skanky nobody. Let's talk marriage next yeah! | |

I've had alot of gentlemen. Few when they want to IM then they start talking about their member. I delete them then.

I totally agree with you. Just because we don't want someone sending a picture of their junk out of nowhere doesn't mean that we hate guys or their body parts. But presenting it in that manner is gross and rude, and to me it's insulting. It's like "Do you think that I am a slut or something, and if you send me a picture like that I'm just going to be like HELL YEAH I WANT SOME OF THAT and then jump on top of you?" No.
I set my filters to try to avoid messages like that, but there are a couple of other sites where people, even ones with girlfriends will send me messages like "Yo baby girl wanna come up to my crib and f*** know what I'm sayin" as their first contact! It's really aggravating and I don't know what I'm doing wrong either, or why people pick me to mess with and not the girls that are in their underwear for their pictures or have sexual names. | |
