| do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith?? Posted: 11/3/2009 10:25:35 AM |
Basically the only young men I could think off that would date an older lady (like with over a 10 plus years age difference)would be those less attractive young guys who can't get any dates or even acceptance from the younger ladies that are their age.
OMG! You've GOT to be kidding me?? You're also the same guy that thinks bald men can't get dates. What is your issue?? How dare you imply that older women can only get unattractive men? Take a look around...you see more attractive younger women with unattractive older men than the other way around because a lot of young women go for the money, and that's fine, but it's the older guys that have the money, not most young guys. Geesh! I'm going to stop typing now as I may say something that will get me kicked off this site. Grrrr!! I pity the woman you end up with.

Not in my circle..but Cougars seem to be the 'in' thing right now so there will be a lot of lonely 20 something women out there since the guys in their age range are shopping 30+
It's not so much that it's 'the in thing' but that one of my fellow geezers leaked the secret about women into and past their 40s to the young guys. ;)

Basically the only young men I could think off that would date an older lady (like with over a 10 plus years age difference)would be those less attractive young guys who can't get any dates or even acceptance from the younger ladies that are their age. So these would include men in the 20's who may be suffering from pre-mature baldness or something like that, which could possibly cause some serious trauma and emotional and psychological pain, and trauma. I could not imagine what they go through not having hair at such a young age in such a materialistic world. Since it's very hard for a young guy to loose his hair in his 20's, and it pretty well guarentees that almost all the women in their 20's would turn these poor fellows down and not give them a chance at all, therefore something like that could be and I'm sure ussually is a perfect trigger for them to pursue the older ladies trusting that they know better and are more mature and wiser and would not reject them over something like hairloss.
Amellio-bello, in answer to your question regarding why I was offended, read the above statement, which you wrote. Read the first sentence...carefully. Now continue reading the rest. You tell me - what does it say about younger men dating older women, and what does it say about pre-maturely balding men getting dates. Go ahead. Explain away. I'll be waiting, as I'd love to hear you justify your comments and dance around in circles trying to do so.

| do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith?? Posted: 11/3/2009 2:21:14 PM | I have always preferred older men and married older. Despite it not working out - It wasnt down to the age gap. Im not sure if the word "Lust" sums it up...
Lust is a very basic way of describing any attraction between 2 people but is certainly part of it - Yet not all of the attraction.
I do not want to say Im mature lol - However I find it difficult to relate to men my own age. I have always found that difficult and I feel (and hope lol) that older men are more experienced and past the "messing!" about stage - (This however isnt always true)
But I feel that is what attracts me to older men. They also can have a wider outlook on life and have more life experience...
Young men can have this too - Im not ignorant to believe otherwise but I do feel the chances are more so with older men.
I also prefer how older men look... Ill get slapped for saying this - But men tend to get better looker the older they get where as women have to work harder lol
This is only my opinion - So what Im saying is - Its not a mith - But it isnt for every younger woman. I have had females that know me and think Im crazy lol
They just dont get it and have had others who totally get it!!!!
I also know many women that would rather have a younger man ...
Whateva floats yer boat!!!!! lol

| do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith?? Posted: 11/3/2009 2:29:22 PM | I have always been one of those girls with an old spirit. My maturity at times has astounded my parents and left my professors and friends baffled. I dislike telling people my age because I always get that opened mouth gaping look and usually the one asking thinks I have lied to them. I am 19 years old and will admit to being attracted to older men and in some cases much older men. Most guys my age or even under 25 do not appeal to me because I am WAY past any crazy, drink beer, party all night stage....in fact I was never in that stage. So yes, older more secure and settled men catch my eye and make my heart pound away. I had a 52 year old sit by me at the State Fair on Halloween while I was waiting on some people to get off of a ride. He looked, to me, to be in his late 40's, I knew he was hitting on me and instead of being grossed out, I was actually very flattered and held his gaze in conversation. Not only flattered, I could feel my blood boil with him sitting there. Many of my friends around my age have also admitted to being hot and bothered by older men.
BTW Sean Connery, Sam Elliot and others are my movie star crushes....

| do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith?? Posted: 11/3/2009 2:39:11 PM | every once in a while i find a willing partner between half and two thirds my age, say mid twenties to mid thirties, this is because i believe i will!
i carry that thought with me all the time, both in my waking mind and my subconscious,, these young ladies, like myself, are not inclined toward anything of a serious nature.
if you are at ease with yourself, and know how to use your eyes, your voice and your body language to excite the ladies tastebuds, then these conquests are very much on the cards.
there is a knack in knowing who to pick, i don`t wish to sound in the slightest egotistical, but this type of recreation plays an important role in my life.
good luck to all you ageing lotharios,` tis a wonderful pastime.

Everyone needs to be warmed up first.... If he knows the road and runs great then he would be a keeper...

| do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith?? Posted: 11/4/2009 6:01:27 AM | Most of the women I have been dating are 26-34 and I am 51. It depends on where you are and what crowds you run with. I work in the arts and it is more common. Go to the EU or South America and it is also common.
Regular Joe Mid America not so common

| do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith?? Posted: 11/4/2009 6:07:24 AM | At the same time, I don't think age matters either way, as long as there is chemistry between two people. Age is just a number
Very good. I must say that I have dated some women in their late 60's that rocked my world. They were in shape and had a great attitude.

| do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith?? Posted: 11/4/2009 1:50:07 PM | My previous girlfriend was 22 and I was 39 and there was definitely chemistry and she definitely sought me out. Why, I have no certainty but have often thought that the initial attraction for her may have, in fact, been related to "daddy issues" although she denied it at the time.
What was important however was that once we were together, we really hit it off and had a wonderful time together while it lasted. Ultimately though, there just wasn't enough in common and shared history to make it last and we parted as friends. In fact, I just talked to her last week when she called to see how I was doing.
So the answer to do they exist is yes. How many and whether it will work is a great unknown. At this point I don't think I could date anyone younger than about 28 or 29 as that 12 or 13 year difference is about the workable limit for me. And actually, that makes a little biological sense as well since I wouldn't be old enough to be their father.
In any event, it happens and can be great for the right two people, just like most other scenarios.
