Going over to his place..??

Listen to your gut. ... and what everyone else said.

You can always go to his place at any time later down the line when a sense of trust and familiarity has been established. IF your gut feeling is telling you that it's not right, then it usually is so. If he respects you and is interested in establishing something serious, he will respect his boundaries. You should not feel pressured in any way to do what you don't want to do.

This is by far the most simple, practical thing one can or should do when meeting someone you are not familiar with:

SECURITY AT ALL TIME : Always leave his/her name and address and contact info off the site with someone who is likely to miss you, and get someone to ring you, to make sure you are ok on the date - Simple security for men and women.

Baby Girl...run like hell...

This guy is up to no good...therefore nothing good will come out of his behavior.

He should pursue you and continually pursue you by calling in advance and asking you out on a date....but a date is NOT HIS PLACE! That is BS!

Wait for a man who shows you RESPECT!!!

Walk away now! Be safe and good luck!

I would just drop this guy.

If he had a genuine interest in you, he would have made specific plans, even something as simple as "Let's meet for coffee at 6:30 at Starbucks."

The fact that he didn't, and then pressured you to come up to his place the first time you met, is not a good sign.

Not sure what's so bad about hanging out at the beach in the daytime though. If you're interested in him, just make a specific plan. I'm sure lots of things going on in LA, some festivals or public events like that. Just find out about some event going on and make plans to meet for that.

If I were you I would just drop him though.
