It sucks pretty hard to talk to someone and get to know them and their life via talking on the phone and e-mail for days, weeks or months till she's ready to meet.
Well, you my friends has some serious patience.
Usually, when I begin communcating with a women, I'd usually except to meet her within a week or so. If it takes longer then that, I usually begin to lose interest. Quickly. | |

Why do men have to see you before trying to get to know you?
Are we talking about, see'ing a picture over the internet, or seeing you in person?
Trust me, women are like that too. It works both ways.
As for the internet, I like for women to share pictures, as I don't do blind dates. I haven't been burned, but there's quite a people out there whom would lead you to believe look otherwise.
The other reason...
See you before they get to know you? Well, it's a date. Testing the waters, and seeing if there's any attraction. If there is, it's a strong indication that there will be a second date.

Chatting awhile helps you to really get to know each other.
Agreed. But this isn't like the toilet seat argument...as in what difference does it make where the chatting occurs.
In-person chatting gives an added dimension (body language, facial expressions) that works to both people's advantage in deciphering communication and, ultimately, compatibility.
Can anyone argue against that? | |

Posted: 11/6/2009 11:44:59 AM | I do not believe in love at first sight. Especially at my age. Chatting awhile helps you to really get to know each other. Having similar likes can lead to great friendships, which in turn can lead to love and a lasting relationship. Look around ,beauty is only skin deep and fades fast. You guys should watch that movie with Mel Gibson, "What Women Want".......Chat and see the inner beauty.
PS. If you feel your just being used as a chat buddy, let your feelings known and say goodbye.
Because most need physical attraction - if they don't want to see you naked, it ain't happening...........

A male's instinct is to pick the most attractive female possible to pass on the most attractive genes possible, increasing the odds that his offspring will also mate, which increases the chances of perpetuating his own DNA long after he's gone.
This instinct does not dissipate when the man passes the age at which the female reproductive cycle has ended. | |
