Perhaps I'll go to a plastic surgeon, see if he can perform a **** lift for me. Then, maybe I can get an exfoliating treatment. After that, the booty salon for a few highlights and a trim. Last step--don't forget the make-up! A little powder here, a little rouge there...
I just thought of something hilarious: all women should shave their pubes into a huge arrow pointing to the clit. | |

The dye job turned the bush bright orange, so back to the shave routine lol I prefer shaved myself , I just trim . Landing strip ? Kegel exercises of course
Provides many benefits: Conditioned muscles will make birth easier, and your perineum will more likely be intact (fewer tears and episiotomies), Sexual enjoyment is enhanced for both partners (you can easily perform the big squeeze) It can prevent prolapses of pelvic organs. It can help prevent leaking urine when you sneeze or cough!!

Posted: 11/4/2009 10:19:47 AM | I'm not sure one should be so concerned about "shaky" hands as much as just being able to see "IT" in order to shave IT!!!! So many people our age have such big bellies that I'd think the danger is more in not knowing what the hell you're shaving!!!
Diabetics and people on blood thinners should be using the cream depilatories, but even to use that ... you have to be able to see where you're applying the cream.
Also, some folks are so big they can't even reach their privates to appropriately wipe after using the bathroom ... how would they ever manage to shave "down there" appropriately?
I have had to take care of men who can't reach their own penis in order to urinate because they can't reach around their bellies. You do realize, that as the belly gets bigger and bigger, the arms do not grow longer and longer and at some point, you're not going to be able to reach things that normally we all should still be able to see ... eh? | |

True and unfortunately when they need to go they have to do it the shower. They are basically handcuffed due to their excess weight.

Hilarious!!! Whats nice (or hygenic) about grey pubic hair - yuk, perhaps we should grow the hair under our arms and legs as well lest people think we have loose morals and are primed for action at every opportunity, it would be hilarious if you judged someone who did it for religious reasons as in the muslim faith!!!. Personally i don't like the experience of 'hairy teeth' ....its a bit like a hair cut on your head, if you don't keep it trimmed it'll look a mess and take twice as long to get back into order. If you and your partner prefer au naturel good luck to you too, who cares, its all a matter of personal preferance. You're certainly not too old though, take no notice of uptight and judgemental man !!! | |

Posted: 11/4/2009 11:29:12 AM | i became "up to date" on this topic, when i adopted my teens at age 50. at first, i was appalled due to the pre-puberty connotation with my generation. so then, i went to my al anon meeting, the source of all "gossip" and technology related subjects at the coffee meet afterwards! there, one of the guys in his early 40's filled me in as to the "range" of preferences. that was the time the string bikini came out and my kids had them hanging out their pants, but didn't think much about hygeine yet. so, i had to do a rapid update on many of the new "trends". what was funny was that i thought the top triangle of the bikini was the crotch part and was also appalled about the hygeine of all that. i got it straight after a while of constantly asking people questions. career exec gone mom and with a disablity to boot!
as to adults, different people start with different situations. personally, i don't like totaly shaved men or women. it reminds me of pre-op and can be very scratchy or itchy. i also don't like the pubescent look and the hairs actually have a sexual purpose which has been discussed in other threads. however, some have more than they really need.
for some, waxing does not leave problems behind, but for others it's a big mess. i think, if you can afford it, that lasering the extreme "issues" and trimming the rest is preferable. it really depends upon the person, their hygeine levels, the degree of stubble or ingrown hairs, etc.
for the people with nose hair issues, there is a battery operated nose trimmer. my friend got that for her husband on his 30th birthday. she said it was because he was now a man!
as to men looking bigger, give me a break. however, many men seem to think that is true. also many older men are now shaving their chest hairs where we live on the beach to attract the younger generation. again, unless you need your back lasered, to me a hairy chest is "masculine". i'm less concerned about the grey, than the overall attraction of a person. my 50 year female friend tried to dye her pubic hair. so, i did one of my male buddy surveys for her. most men do not like to wear their reading glasses and most of them can't even see what color it is! plus, they are more concerned about the target--or so they tell me. 
bottom line: well groomed, within reason and based upon the individual. no stubbles! | |

The older we get the less hair we have so that an older gentleman with a hairy chest is going to lose a lot of it as he ages. Same goes for pubic hair ... less and less and less as we age. Just ask anyone who works in a nursing home on bath day. There are no more hairs on their legs ... nor in the pits ... nor in the groin area. | |

Some women as an example, may have to much hair, that needs trimming or even shaving. For someone who is physically active, swimming, skiing, scuba diving and even kayaking, you wear modern materials in clothing that can rub in such a way that hair is snagged, and it hurts!!!
And if you sweat a lot when working out, having more pubic hair can make one feel wet all the time and then lead to chafing and even odor issues.

Besides as the song says " It aint the meat it's the motion that makes her want to rock."
I talked to a friends daughter wow is a cosmetologist. She has a following of woman that go to her for a shave never knew there were hair styles for that part of the world. She also also bleaching the skin around the anus. I tell ya she makes damn good money.
My personal preference is nicely trimmed. I like a woman to look like a woman and not a prepubescent girl. | |

absolutely true! -nothing worse than seeing grey pubes on a hot older chick...
also lots of women who dye/bleach their hair, usually shave her pubes so she doesn't have to explain why the carpet doesn't match the curtains...
also the feeling of skin on skin is sooooo much better! | |

however i do think it is necessary for both sexes to shave their " private " parts now and again other wise we would all have forests down there.
Anyway we never went to Florida as after 5 months together she dumped me for not being tall enough for her...............but thats another story. | |

And I have to agree, what IS this "at our age" crap? I see this in the title of thread after thread...'at our age.
What 'age' would that be? Decrepit? Irrelevant? "Go siddown someplace and wait to die" age?
Do whatever the hell you are physically and mentally capable of doing without posing undue risk to your own safety or that of others. If you want to shave your package bald as a cue ball and parade down Main street buck nekkid, have at it!
And yes, there can be hygenic/aesthetic reasons to trim up or shave the south 40.
Having a freakin' PELT bristling out of your swimsuit, excessive moisture/odor (athletes & swimmers) or if you wear a closefitting/closecut leotard or dance outfit,personal taste, whatever.
At our age we can do pretty much whatever we want to and are capable of.
And yes, there ARE methods that don't require sharp objects.
To the dude that needs help with his grooming procedures...do you have access to electricity?( I'll bring horseclippers) If not, I'll bring the sheep shears and a wool carding comb.
