A beautician friend of mine told me that. She said if the scissor or razor is not really sharp, it splits the ends of the hair when you cut it or shave it and that contributes to the stubble or even the shortened hair being sharp and pokey.
Use hair conditioner to shave with...solves that issue. | |

I used to have one. I think it was a 1984 model.. the 244. Gotta tell you.. thing was a little boxy.. but strong.. greatest stopping power of it's day. Servicing it was hell. The dealer was expensive and even when I tried to service it myself, the parts were outrageous. Sometimes I'd be down on my back underneath that vulva for what seemed like HOURS. It was HARD to hold myself in that position for that long.
But boy oh boy.. when tuned up.. the vulva is a nice ride. Good trade-in value too.

Posted: 11/5/2009 9:14:59 AM | For some reason all I can think about right now is how as humans age a significant number seem to have some kinda crazy-azz boost in hair growth hormone in the strangest places -- ears, nose. Lord knows I can't wanna see a bush growing outta either and I don't wanna see a 1-foot strand dangling from the ol' punanda (Ain't that what Whoopi calls it?).
Keeping it trimmed within an inch or 2 don't seem like too much to ask or involving too much effort/time. I tried the clean-shaven thang back in my mid-20s. Never again! If others like it, go for it. Just not for me.
I see no need to worry about gray public hair. I hear we now can dye the carpet to match the drapes but I quit dying the drapes this past year. | |

My theory is that men grow nose and ear hair to aid in muff munching, which becomes increasingly important as men's weiners age and their stamina goes down (ahem!). | |

Wax is really bad for your skin and can cause darker pigmentation where it is used. There has to be an inexpensive easy cure for me. It wasn't my fault I broke my nose like 3 times. I swear these hairs are aliens. They pop out when I least expect it. I go in the bathroom to wash my hands, while out to dinner, and they are out probing the environment or something. Just like if you don't take care of things before you put on a bathing suit, you have the curious hairs that wish to explore. At least I can shave and nair down there. | |

I love to run my fingers and tongue through a woman's hairy jungle. I do not enjoy girls with no hair down there. Just seem too immature to me. Kind of like a baby or a little school girl.

Despite the odd ingrown hair, I discovered that I really liked the hairless feel. It requires a lot of upkeep to avoid the irritation of stubble. Consequently, these days, I only trim.
It's amazing that we share with strangers on the net what we wouldn't tell a close friend. I think the fashion was born out of the porn industry. | |

One time, while some gals from the office were *ahem*, chatting, one lady stated she thought something was wrong with her, as she appeared to see a reduction of hair in the netherlands. Apparently, this is a common occurrence in older folks? Like late 60's and over? Anyone care to comment? | |

I've been shaving my legs with conditioner for years. A little trick my oldest daughter, the former stripper, taught me. 
And, yeah, I'll comment. I don't know if the thinning hair starts early than 60 or if my spreading hips mean there's more lawn to cover with the same amount of grass. I turned 49 yesterday and I've been noticing the thinning for at least a few years.  | |

It's amazing that we share with strangers on the net what we wouldn't tell a close friend. There are many things I do not share with strangers on the net.
This happens to be one of them.
As is a lot of personal and/or sexual things.
I end up thinking about any man I may get into a relationship with.
Out of respect for HIM, I tend to keep anything about 'privates'.. well.. private.
To share with Him, if the time comes..
and he'll know I didn't let thousands of strangers know before him.

I am haired out today...I just ate lunch and have read way to much...now I know more about hair than I really needed to know.......
Waxing hurts only for a second. If you don't like waxing.......Nair is great.
One more note.....had a male friend ask me if he should shave it down there..
My response was does he like a woman to be shaved........yes he does...so now he shaves it.....forgot to tell him to use moisture or its gonna start itching.....Why he asked me? I don't have a clue.....I bet he was reading the forums..........Smiles | |

The older we get the less hair we have so that an older gentleman with a hairy chest is going to lose a lot of it as he ages. Same goes for pubic hair ... less and less and less as we age. Just ask anyone who works in a nursing home on bath day. There are no more hairs on their legs ... nor in the pits ... nor in the groin area.
I've just turned 60 and have basically no hair under my arms, very little on my legs, and can say that yes, the nether area is thinning. It was nothing new to me though since I've been taking care of older individuals for many years.
I'm thrilled that I no longer have to shave so much ... my poor sensitive skin!!! | |
