but men... if you have hair everywhere, it makes you look strange to have one Bald area on your body. The penis is already a ridiculous enough looking appendage without doing that sort of thing to the poor thing.

On Men:
I suppose if the man is naturally hairless on his legs and torso, shaving pubs could be okay, but men... if you have hair everywhere, it makes you look strange to have one Bald area on your body. The penis is already a ridiculous enough looking appendage without doing that sort of thing to the poor thing.
Yeah, I would think that might look kind of strange if you were a man who was just genetically hairier all over, especially if you were darker haired. I suppose if you wanted to create a real bulls-eye effect that would certainly do the trick.
This seems to me to be one of those generational things, like text messaging. When I was growing up, men who shaved other than their faces, or trimming their ear hair or eyebrows, were usually on the swim team, or basketball players who shaved their lower legs for taping. I wonder when it was that men shaving below the neck became more of a commonplace past time? Late 80's early 90's?
I think it mostly passed me by, then got married, and stay married for a good stretch of years. It just never came up as an issue for my wife and I. I probably would have had my wife wanted me to. No biggie, other than it would just have been another grooming task to add to the list behind bathing, face shaving, flossing, teeth brushing, etc...
Being a free-agent again, what the hell. I wouldn't do it unless I was seriously dating someone though. It's not like I walk around naked in public all day. | |

Not really we all know that often our imaginations exceed our reality.. Personally speaking all my recent dates have been in dreamland..
Let me assure you they were hot hot hot!!!!!!
Now just to get a full nights sleep here would be a much added bonus. These late night dates are wearing me out!

I am 1/2 American Indian and have been told that is the reason. A bit embarassing when I was a younger woman but I rejoiced when it became vogue. I prefer if my many shaves or let's me shave him. My hand's aren't shaking yet so he need not worry. They always use to shave women when we gave birth? Now they don't but many of the mother's are shaved for sexual purposes. Nothing more disruptive than to be enjoying oral sex and have to stop to remove a hair from your throat. Oops.....wait a minute???
I thought as we aged ......the beauty of it was freedom's we didn't have when all of life's responsibilities were on our back? Viva being older. | |

LOL - do you read the "Sex and Dating" forum? There's WAY too much disgusting information shared there. And when the poster has a picture in their profile, it sometimes causes such an ugly painting in my head that it requires brain bleach just to purge myself of it. Here's a tip - don't read that forum when you're eating. I made that mistake a couple times and learned.

I saw a kitty recently that is Egyptian or something, hairless, it had a sweater and hat on. Some kitties have hair and some don't.
I do wonder about something, some women or maybe just one woman mentioned having less hair as she aged. I always read men loose hair on their head, but get more hair every where else. I always figured it was the same with women. I don't think I am thinning any place. I wish I was. You ever shave 6 feet of legs and then have to work your way up? And some people comment about how long it takes me to take a shower or get ready to go out...geez... | |

Cat breeders in Europe and North America have bred the Sphynx to normal coated cats and then back to hairless for more than thirty years. The purpose of these selective breedings was to create a genetically sound cat with a large gene pool and hybrid vigor.
You certainly don't have to shave this one!!
