We didn't! Our son was so bloody ugly we were ashamed to show him to anyone! I'm not joking, he was seriously not an attractive baby.
He's 25 next week and a really good looking lad!

Posted: 11/5/2009 3:28:18 PM | I can honestly say I've never thought that when looking at profiles! I do tend to feel a bit uncomfortable about kids photos being put on a dating site though, I don't see it as a good sign.
If someone has had really awful ex s I do tend to think either they aren't accepting their own part in the story and are exaggerating, or maybe its a sign they have/had issues to allow someone to be that awful tot hem. I'm sure people have probably wondered the same about me!
Someone having an ugly ex might be a sign they're not superficial, but I wouldn't count on it.
I think I am actually more concerned for too conventionally pretty kids to be honest. They tend to be the ones that are encouraged to attach too much importance on looks, and get glamourised too. The type cast they're often given in the playground is played up to all too often and it makes them try to be older than they are. I was one of the kids who at school was all but given a bag to wear over my head, but when I see on Facebook how many of the 'pretty' kids turned out, maybe it wasn't such a bad thing. | |
