It happens. Women just like to live in denial where in their world, sex is just "nice" but never a factor in a relationship...
I am not sure what sex was like in the OLD days, perhaps it was the fear of yet another pregnancy, where the husband would be beyond pissed...
However in this day and age where there is things to combat pregnancy, as well women are allowed to GET THERE'S, Yeah sex is part of the expected package... Sure we don't want to come across as whores, simply because we get pummeled and shamed for being sluts... However if we are with a guy, and have a sex drive, especially for a lot of us past that magical age of 35. OOOORRRRRR some of us always had a mega sex drive... IT IS a factor, and one that can send a woman, just like a man to leaving the relationship...
I am sure there would be many other women who say the same thing...
For the many threads posted about SHE WON'T put out, she won't go down on me, she won't let me bang her butt, et al... IT IS hard to muster up a lot of empathy when a guy complains she wants to much... | |

Out of the 7 days of the week we sex at least 6 days out of the week.Sometimes 3-4 times a day,but shes wanting it like 7 days a week 6-7 times a day! Ive told her i simply cant go that much from all the hours i work and raising a lil one.So i figured as long as i was still pleasing her she would be ok with this,Instead she calls me selfish and says i dont give it up!
I can't even fathom being like this. Her testosterone count must be off the charts, Jesus.
It sounds to me as though she has nothing better to do all day than to live for her genitals. You might want to suggest a job for her so she can focus her energies on being more productive. I'm assuming she doesn't work since she has all day to hound you for sex? | |

If you're a man it means you have E.D., have no passion, are toying with her affections and can't "man-up" to her standards.

I'm confused about how a woman who wants more sex than you doesn't consider sex a factor in her relationship. Maybe it's the way that was worded...

I've had older friends tell me that a lot of times back then men would welcome a pregnancy and some even tried to create one, since it prevented a woman from leaving him if he felt she didn't want to be there. The women in these relationships didn't want the pregnancy however and either tried to avoid sex, or snuck birth control in the days it was available. | |

I tend to concur here. If the OP was banging her for an hour, and hard, I will bet their number of sex encounters a day would go down drastically. Also, when you have too much sex, it then becomes mechanical and a chore. So the OP may want to work on increasing HER orgasms. That may do the job. | |

WIP -- Ok, so here's a more elaborate version...
John meets Jane (wherever). John like Jane. Jane likes John. John and Jane wanna start exploring the possibility of an exclusive relationship. John and Jane talk. They talk a lot. Sex comes up. Jane immediately says that "All men just want one thing". John scoffs and says "Not like that with me at all. I'd prefer to get to know someone better." Jane is impressed and they start dating.
Dating leads John and Jane to kissing. Kissing leads to heavy petting above and under the clothes. Jane makes moves on John. John recoils (politely) and reminds Jane that he wants to get to know her better first. Jane calls John a fag/queer/homo/limp d!ck/etc.
John gets dumped by Jane for being "obviously gay".
Even though in her world, it was men that all wanted "one thing".

Beautiful story, but not what I got from your original post. Sounded more like a relationship you were in where you wanted sex less - followed by a comment that women don't factor sex in as part of a relationship. Just seemed confusing, that's all.
I agree that if a woman kneejerks and overreacts to a guy asking her to wait longer as a rejection that she's not dating material. I'd apply that to men too - gender isn't the issue there, jumping the gun and lack of tact or social skills is.
Any person who's got a healthy sex drive and a good set of toys (be they human or not)at their disposal won't wrap so much sex life up in a new thing. If the edge is off, people are free to focus on what else someone has to offer. | |

I do have to say something, when a woman rejects a man, he is supposed to take it like a man, right. But when a man rejects a woman, for whatever reason, he is tired, his libido clock has been satisfied, whatever, a lot of women get totally bend out of whack.
Also some other women, when rejected, they feel more erotically aggressive and they continue to escalate until they get what they want. | |
