He's not spending more... these are the troops that didn't get killed in Cheney's War for Money in Iraq. Take a second from your great concern about Obama's handling of Kanye West to think about the administration that was glad to send American youth to die for the good of their and their freinds' bank accounts. Then you can come back to this issue of great importance.

Eloquently stated. Thank you.

Who cares about the previous administration. They have no bearing on what happens from this point on. They made their decisions and the left voted with them when the going was good--and stabbed them in the back when Iraq and Afghanistan became a political liability. Oh, let me guess--The Democrats voted for the war before they voted against it, right?

Obummer made all these promises--pass this stimulus and unemployment won't go past 8 percent. I spent a millions dollars per job to save that job but still lost millions of other jobs. Let's pass a costly health care bill that the people don't want when we already have a trillion dollar deficit. This isn't responsible government; this is the worst joke ever imposed on the American people--and it might be funny if the consequences weren't so dire. But the left won't hold their dear leader accountable so we on the right get to do it and let everybody know what we always knew about this man--he's an incompetent boob who isn't fit to lead a latrine detail let alone a country. And everyday more and more Americans are waking up to that fact.

Umm...yes, Obama IS spending more. His analysts predict that at the end of his term he will have DOUBLED the national debt. Fail. I won't even go into Citi and the bail-outs and all that. We all know that was pure crap.

Interesting slant, first of Republicans and Democrats original voted for a war of weapons of mass destruction, there were none, they knew there was none,so don't act like Democrats went for it, so tough, they went for it like the republicans, for false reasons, nothing 0n actual facts,we were duped. We certainly were not all for it after that fact !

Its silly to think you can hold Obama to a 8% limit when the opposition basically stood in his way through the whole process, they drug their feet and created obstacle and obstacle, and now critics like you say,"hey, whats up with that Obama" give me a break, plus the countries conditions changed over the months and that gave the opposition even more time to stall and town hall things.Monkey wrenches were being thrown at every juncture.

The facts show the vast majority want the medical bill, your just making noise saying otherwise.

Which "vast majority" are you referring to? Obama's plans for healthcare are about the least popular thing he has proposed. I guess since I can back my "noise" up, I will request you do the same.

BS..He got his "Stimulus" Plan passed ...It simply isnt working, its funny to see Obaminions saying we can't expect Obama to be accurate in his promise as to what the "Stimulus" plan would accomplish but expect us to believe all the Lies about Health Care savings and costs...that makes no sense if he can't get an 800 billion dollar plan to do what he promised how can we expect him to get HCR right?

You may be right about a majority wanting HCR but you have to keep in mind that a Majority believe all the lies and misrepresentations coming out of the White House...wait til it is enacted if it is and people have to deal with it, opinions will change very fast...

Oh the majority DO want to fix healthcare. We just don't want it "fixed" Obama's way.

Obama just tells the majority of people what he thinks they want to hear. He's a media whore who will say anything to sway as many as he can. Follow all the lies and flip-flops in his campaign and it will worry you. He changed his stance on almost everything from gun control to the wearing of a lapel pin to who he looks up to, to...hell. He changed everything...and gotta say! People bought it! Hook, line, sinker. Critical thinking skills fail.

At least we moved from Kanye West to something more concerning such as the critical lapel pin.

But the subject of fixing health care came up... I don't want it fixed Obama's way either. What have Republicans proposed as a solution for the decades it's been heading towards collapse? Anyone remember what the GOP campaigns proposed this past election year when it was a major issue concerning voters? No? Don't remember? Because they didn't say because they ran out of time from focusing on the important issues like lapel pins and middle names.

Again, we are stuck with Obama not because of the voters that bought anything he was selling but because his opposition and it's supporters don't have anything to contribute. The difference that made a difference in the election was because of the people that didn't vote for McCain because we never heard his campaign talk about what his administration would do to address issues of concern to Americans. "I'm not THAT guy" just doesn't cut it to voters that want answers.

Yes,...Like I said,..

even tho he was probably right about that, it still is NOT his place to make that call,...

Obama drops the ball...again.

Just because Obama is President doesn't give him free reign to run ruff shod over anyone, and with him being under the Public Eye, he is supposed to "Think",..before he Speaks,....as soon as he said West was a "jackazz" he was automatically scrutinized for his Opinion,....we just got rid of one Clown, we dont need another one.
Obama drops the ball...again.

Look at the Gates Arrest,...he shot off his mouth without hearing both sides of the story.....tisk, tisk, tisk,....
Obama drops the ball...again.

It looks like Obama just cant open his mouth with out sticking his foot in it,.....

Last time I checked, this was AMERICA,....where Re Blooded, Red White and Blue God Loving Americans like you and I can speak freely of our Opinions, because were not under the microscope,..like Obama is.

And YES,....I'm just as entitled to have an Opinion, just as everybody else,..and I'm actually just going along with someone elses "Call",.......I did NOT make it,......but I do happen to AGREE with it........so don't ATTACK ME,...because you think it isn't my place to make "that call".

I try to keep my Mouth Shut,....until I at least know the FACTS.

And you know what,....from what I have seen, and what I have read,.....
Obama drops the ball...again.

Check out these LINKS,..to see Obama dropping the Ball so much, you'd swear he was in a Basketball Game,.....talk about Morals, Values, and Judgment Calls,.....Obama makes PLENTY of them,....In favor of Muslims and Islam,...instead of the Country he is President of,...THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,..and is Susposed to be a "CHRISTIAN NATION".

And I, like many other Americans, believe that Obama was given a damaged ball.

About Kanye West: Give it a rest.
In the post above mine, the poster makes it abundantly clear that HE HAS A RIGHT TO HIS OPINION.

I assert that President Obama has that same right. He didn't 'make a call', he expressed his opinion.
And, in my opinion, he was correct when he said that West was a jackass.

Last time I checked, this was AMERICA,....where Re Blooded, Red White and Blue God Loving Americans like you and I can speak freely of our Opinions, because were not under the microscope,..like Obama is.

That just comes off crazy.
As Joe Everyday or as President of the United States, Obama has the VERY SAME RIGHT to speak his mind as do you and I.
Regardless of whether or not one is God-loving, one is free to express one's opinion.

How very un-American to want to censor President Obama--or to critisize him when he gives his opinion.

If you don't think West was a jackass, then disagree with that. There is no need to make it a personal attack on the human being who said it.

The word is health care reform that many want. Many want health care reform but not the Health Care Reform mess that congress at this time is trying to pass.

Poll: Huge majority doesn't want Democrats' health care bill

With House Democrats racing to pass their 2,000-plus page health care reform bill this weekend, a new CNN/Opinion Research poll shows that an overwhelming majority of those surveyed -- 72 percent -- want Congress either to make major changes, start over from scratch, or simply stop working on health care legislation. Just 26 percent want Congress to pass the current health care proposal as is, or with minor changes.http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/Poll-Huge-majority-doesnt-want-Democrats-health-care-bill-69399612.html

So unless one wants to see Obama drop the ball again, it looks like Obama and his elected democrats better think before voting on their 2, 000 page bill.

Yes because the president should always listen to the whims of what unqualified people that have nothing better to do than answer the phone.

I would think the people in Washington are probably better equipped to deal with the issues at hand than people that answer polls.

Which is one more reason why polls using a poll to prove what or what should not be done makes absolutely no sense as it only proves that those people thought it was not a good idea.

Are you really willing to stake the future of your Health Care system on what some complete strangers may think is right?

If it was that way, why even bother to elect people, just make all the decisions based on polls, so that way even if they are completely wrong the majority will always get their way.

"CHRISTIAN NATION".

The United States is not a Christian Nation, despite the assertion by some that it is.
That whole separation of Church and State issue is hotly debated at times, and can be found on this site by doing a thread search.

It does give me pause whenever someone posts about the U.S. being a Christian Nation, yet harshly judges another in the same sentence.

Very un-Christian-like, that.

Very un-Christian-like, that.

Funny how people who claim the moral high ground can be so vicious and lacking in compassion.

They find their moral compass in a book and presume the right to tell others how to live their lives.

And BOY do they know how to judge and condemn!

Actually that phenomena is not limited to Christians read these forums sometime..there are many who claim other religious beliefs or none at all that presume the right to tell others how to live their lives and know how to judge and condemn...I dont think its about religion its about being human we all have flaws we all have opinions and we all like the think that our belief system is the "Right" one whatever it may be....

I am just amused at how the Obama camp went from "Obama will fix" to "Bush made it so Obama can't fix". If that were so, it should have been stated up-front instead of relied upon as an excuse for failure. However, Bush did not force Obama to piss away our money on bail-outs and the like. Obama is doing it all by himself. He's a big boy and he's accountable.

Resukitagains can never get on message, can they. First they say he's a great speaker, but that's not worth nothing. Now he can't open his mouth without sticking his foot in his mouth. I don't know if they've heard him speak, but he's really good at it. I don't know what they are trying to pin on him now, but this message won't stick. Nice try though trying to lower Obama's speaking ability to that of gaffe machine Bush.

They say he's a muslim, but he is brainwashed by Rev. Wright. That was stupid. He's soft on terrorism, but he's stupid for being in Afghanistan.

Will you Resukitagains please get together and figure out what you want to label this President as and quit with the ADD effort of bashing him?

I thought I already labeled him: A puppet of popular opinion. Problem is, he has flipped around on issues so much that instead of pleasing everyone, he pissed them all off. It's no wonder his popularity has dropped so far so fast.

JWG,
do you tink popular opinion shouldn't amount to anything? There are dictatorships out there for you to move to if you'd wish. We here in America appreciate a government that takes it's citizens into consideration.

well, if the world had had any idea just how much there was going to be to fix during the election even Obama might have had his doubts, but the bottom didn't fall out of the economy until a few weeks before the elections so it was pretty hard to run for a year before that addressing the issue. in fact, its pretty obvious that the plan in the Whitehouse was to keep it as hidden as possible till after the election but the waters rose a tad too high for the dam.

and of course Bush forced Obama to "piss you money away". if we'd had a functional financial regulatory agency in place during the eight years the Republicans held office (six of them with a majority in congress) perhaps we could have avoided "pissing your money away". and lets remember that the initial "pissing away" was done by a Republican president. however as it stood, when the crash came there wasn't much left to do but "piss the money away" or we would have been looking at a stockmarket in complete collapse, credit at a complete halt, detroit in full meltdown, the mortgage market going into free fall and the country up shit creek.

outside of that unforeseen calamity, we now have troops leaving Iraq, a reasonably stable stockmarket (for the moment), some moderate signs of improvement in the economy, and, last but not least, a world who no longer regards our leaders as an amusing but dangerous set of clowns.

did you really think that Jesus himself could have in one year pulled the country out of the mess eight years of moronic leadership left us in? get real.

however I doubt there will be any lessening of the Right running away from Bush. if I'd elected him, I'd be embarrassed about it too.

It is kind of laughable how the message of what Obama can do and now can't do has changed over just this pass year.

Wasn't the message everyone was screaming at the Obama rallies "yes we can"?

Now it seem that its no he can't because of Bush, but Bush is out of the picture now.
