In my case if I was with a special someone, the sex is a very intimate part of the relationship, which I feel is important and necessary. | |

I really don't concider myself UGLY or Fat and I can go without sex!
If I am unhappy....in my relationship (or single). I can please myself. Not that I don't think about having it but I prefer to have the connection (mentally), to really enjoy and get the most out of the experience.
Not saying I have never had sex just because.....or a friend with benifits. But can definatley hold out too.
So I say YES a woman can go without sex!
I think it depends on what stage you are in in your life and what your expectations and wants and needs are.

Too many reasons to list but mostly he didn't initiate things and if I did, he was only interested in his own pleasure and never, ever mine. I got tired of the selfishness.
I do know for my next relationship he will pay as much attention to me as I pay to him, if not more (he's already told me he would).
But, I do take care of myself nicely when I don't have a man in my life. BOB is a great friend! | |

If a girl said something like this to me, then I'm thinking that she views sex as something she gives to a man without pleasure to herself. she doesn't quite understand what relationships are all about and is content to play games.
However!, if say i don't do the dishes and it gets on her nerves that i'm lazy or something and then she simply 'isn't in the mood' then thats alright. | |

Posted: 8/1/2007 5:26:32 PM | Unfortunately, yes, women can go without sex. I read in a magazine once that 40% of women would rather shop for shoes then have sex. Men on the other hand would go without shoes and walk across a bed of fire to get some.
Most likely she is having second thoughts about you. After all she is still living with a guy and he is tapping her too you can be sure. Perhaps you may want to consider doing some of the things that she found seductive about you in the beginning. After a couple has been together for a while, some men stop the seduction because they do not see a need for it because they are already getting sex.
There is something wrong in that the frequency of seeing her is dropping off. Wish you luck in figuring out what that is so you can address it. | |

Relationship sans sex equals a platonic friendship, IMO.

If she is still living with this guy than of course she does not want sex from you that much, she is getting it from the person she lives with. You stated you guys made plans for marriage, if she is sill living with this guy you are NUTS!
