In a survey of 31,581 women across the U.S. ages 18 to 102, 44 percent reported having sexual problems, the most common being low desire for sex. The findings mirrored those of many other surveys — but what sets this one apart is that of those women reporting sexual problems, only 12 percent say they are are actually bothered by it.
That's based on a new study, published Friday in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The question then raised is, if such a large percentage aren't interested and don't care, is this then normal? After all, the stories one hears that lack of sexual interest is common must have some basis.
Here's a thought If you believe the CONSPIRACY THEORISTS, then you may look into what drugs all women are receiving at some point in their life from doctors. Because there was also a discussion on the up and coming overpopulation problem and ways to curb it. It was suggested that the DESIRE in humans be curbed via drug induced hormones.

Cant wait till after christmas. I do think women can give up sex but you could not do the full year without masterbating. No way on earth........ Unfortunately, I have personal experience with this topic. I have been without sex for almost three years now, and that's including the time with my now ex-husband. He was more interested in his personal satisfaction.
I know some women who HAVE to have sex, no matter who it's with b/c of their immense sex drive. As for me, sex is only with the man I love and that I will NOT compromise. So Yes, women can really go without sex!! | |

I'm one of a kind. I sure as hell can't wait to get married though, so I can finally make some deep, passionate love. I'm wanting to burst out now, but it's all about control which I have plenty of.
Dude, you've gotta leave this lady. She's just using you. (If someone is wanting to see less of you, that means they're losing interest. Trust me, I've learned this from experience). Sure, it'll be hard to move on, but you need to find someone that'll be just into YOU (and not someone else). | |

When I'm pissed off and stressed about a situation I'm in- sex is the last thing on my mind. Since you guys don't see eachother that often, I'm sure when you do get to see her you're ready for sex. Not that that's all you're thinking about but put yourself in her shoes- she's living with a guy she doesn't wanna be with- whether she's staying with him for the company, financial reason, etc...it doesn't matter. Maybe she's just so happy to be around someone whom she really genuinely cares for that sex isn't on her mind- she's just relieved to be cared for by someone. But that's just my opinion. | |

Honestly, most men AND women can go without sex, but choose not to. It's not required to survive outside of propogation of the species, and Lord knows the w0rld's seen enough of that.
Having said that, sure I CAN go without even when single, but what would be the point? I'd rather have it than not - and I have too many options not to. *shrug* | |
