| why are hot guys and girls so mean ????
Posted: 1/10/2009 9:08:02 AM | I agree both guys and girls that are really nice looking (sexy) are mean and stuck up. For example, I consider myself average, and I see this pretty girl in class, so I try to become friends, and all she does ignores me. I ask her, why does she ignore me, she responsed "well ur cute, but your not (hot), and you do not have a great job to support me". Now I come back home, see her for the first time, she is over weight, has a kid and has a husband that cheated on her, and took all her stuff. She says to me "I wish i would of dated you, you look like your having a good life. i responded that I did miss her and that she should not give up like that.
Now for guys.... I have some friends that will only think of harming a girl, and lie to them to make them feel secured. I think that is completly wrong!!! Once they date them and have sex with them, they will ignore them and never answer there call. I tell them that is wrong, all they do is laugh at me. But you know what.... once they are 30 and not married, and could of gotten married with a terrific girl, then they will regret all they have done. I would of understand, if they dated the girl and they thought she was not the right girl for them, then they should of said something to them, that way you would of not wasted there time and then hurt them in the end, causing nice guys like me get rejected because they will think all guys are the same and are after the same thing, well I am after LOVE feeling, the feeling I will always want to be there for you, the feeling when you have a puppy and you just want to squeese them, the feeling of saying I think I am in love.
That is all I have to say.

I completely agree with him.
People who are good looking usually have a bit of an unfair advantage, even if they might not think so it is definately apparent to the rest of us. It's inbuilt into society to treat people who look stunning better than someone who isnt so good looking, something lots of us are guilty of.
Unfortunately this can lead to a huge amount of arrogance and off-putting personality, which can happen all too easily. Course i am completely generalising, there are many hot men and women who are both very attractive and really nice. Though it is certainly more difficult to find them.
In the end it boils down to people who are really attractive knowing that in general they can treat people however they want.
Firstly because they know that they can easily replace whoever it is, with another person not looking past their appearance.
Secondly because in a lot of cases they have egos the size of mount everest, which actually attracts some people and they consider themselves better than other people.
Lastly even if people know the person has a completely f*cked attitude a lot will still give them the adoration they think they deserve.
Again im COMPLETELY GENERALISING and not all people are like this, just the ones who are jerks lol!

Of course, I was kind of a late bloomer... very shy through middle school and early high school and never really came into my own until around my senior year of hs. Hot people aren't mean... mean people are mean. Theres the super hot snobby rich girl/guy who looks down their nose at everyone and there's the fat hermit-like man of not so becoming appearance who is an a$$ to everyone because he's angry with life. Then... there are people with pysychological issues due to years of family disfunction. Being mean is not something tat can be directly attributed to one's level of attractiveness in my opinion. I've dated some very attrctive young women who were exceedingly nice... and others who were total ice queens... m sure the same can be said for men and for people of virtually any level of atrractiveness. | |

Sometimes you have to be mean because the person pursuing you isn't getting the message when you are being kind to them. Some people take kindness as me being interested. If I am interested, I'll make it perfectly clear. If I am not, I'll be kind.
And if they don't get the hint after several tries, then I might have to be a little mean.
Doesn't make me or anyone else in a similar situation a jerk whatsoever. | |
