And for the guys that were, not all of them were hot - in fact, most of them were unattractive to me (maybe that's why they were mean, they didn't like the fact that I wasn't interested?). Turns out there are guys like that regardless of their looks. | |

Well as for the "nice guy" usually looses a uphill battle in keeping a relationship, and then later turns into a real live d***head all because of being unapprieciated and treated like shit from the woman wom he's with. Thus explains the declining "nice guy" supply

See once you go through life always being told your beautiful and people will like you no matter what, those people really never need a self esteem boost. Now, that takes everything out of the natural order, we need self esteem boost's, we are human, nobody is perfect and to push that into someones head makes the persons soul and ego turn to crap. They become so infatuated with themselves that they become morally corrupt and a complete and total douche.
Now for the people who have to work at they're looks is where you find that being shallow is not applicable, people who were not born and made out to believe that they are perfect, are the people that are truly happy on the inside in the end.
So what it all comes down to is, if you are treated all the time like your perfect, then thats what you will act like. You become, for lack of a better word, an "A**hole"

Why do I find mean guys hot?
This most likely has to do with your desire to find a dominant male who you percieve as superior to you, and make him your partner. This can come from a lack of self esteem. You percieve someone being "mean" to you as a sign of superiority, and thus you are attracted to this behavior, and this man. Someone who is kind and loving to you is not very dominant and so they look less "hot" to you.
It should be very clear to everyone that physical attraction should not be at the very top of your list if you want a truly happy and lasting relationship. By nature you will be attracted to the most aggresive and least moral men. Behavior is and will always be the most important trait to look at, not your own lust. | |

offensive, unaccommodating and bad-tempered attitude towards others IS mean. You don't nessesarily have to go out of your way to be an A-hole. Simply being inconsiderate of other's feelings, acting tactless and unkind is enough.
Civilized people pick the high road because they can be direct without being a jerk.
