And I also get very litle response here.... while the mean hot guys do!!!
It seems that hot (and horrible) has it all over not hot (no matter how good the person is)

It is both gender and appearance discriminatory.
So an ugly female is by proxy gonna be nice cause she is the exact opposite of a good looking man?
I have known good looking women who were horrible, and ones that were lovely. I have known unattractive women who were extremely unfriendly and others that were sunshine in a bottle.
The same can be said of men, One of my best mates in High school was voted best looking guy for our year, he was also incidently voted the nicest guy.
Sorry to sort of jump down your throat, i just dont like seeing a certain group being labelled when i think it is an unfair branding for all the individuals in that group that are nothing like the moniker attached to them. | |

There are many reasons someone might come across as mean. Some have been listed here...Simply put though, if someone is mean to you on the internet, for god's sake don't take it personally...this is a medium where people can hide easily...they can say whatever they like...lie...use fake pictures...and be the complete opposite of what society dictates they should be...
Don't let it get you down...there are nice people here...some of them you may even find 'hot'...
I have dated 'hotties' some were completely self-abosorbed, pompous, egotistical, air-headed, bags of mostly water....and a couple that were the nicest ladies in the truest sense of the word...

Almost every hot guy I have met was mean not only to me but to someone I know.................mind you I am good friends with a few hotties and they never tell me they just shrug it off. Come on guys let us girls know.DONT BE SCARED TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT IS ON YOUR MIND.

Posted: 7/17/2005 5:40:55 PM | I say this as a friend of men who are hotties, I've watched my guy friends who women call hot be absolute complete pricks and the women eat it up. I've seen women just fawn over'em without bothering to learn what they got going on upstairs or on the inside. What has happened is that just by the experience of having women fawn over'em, then keep going to them after they treat them like dirt, they see no reason why they have to act nice.
At the end of the day I just sit back and laugh at the comedy of it all, even the plainest of women will go straight to the hot guy, get ****ed and emotionally abused, take it and go back for more. If a woman's going for a decent kind-hearted guy then try looking a step or two below the hottie level, you'll be suprised at the decent men there who'll be good to you, but I doubt any women are going to take what I've said serious, they'll go to the hottiest guy at the bar, fall in love with a facade that'll fade with time and will just waste their time, their health(emotional and physical), and then probably write the next great piece of summer reading where the main protaginist is a woman pissed off cause no man will give her a chance, be good to her, blah, blah, blah, blah-and just add to the ranks of man-hating militant feminists. That's how it goes though, I'll sit, I'll laugh, at the end of it all it'll just be another day and another joke. | |

Of course I wouldnt consider myself the nice guy either, (I am a very special and rare kind of person or so they say, which I believe 100%) But a fact of life is that we have to pass the test of girls by showing some backbone. It is comical to watch almost every woman in the place break their faces smiling at him pleading for his attention. They actually hang around outside his office for whole lunch breaks hoping for a chance. He is actually a decent guy and not at all egotistical. What a lucky guy.
Same time a lot of good looking women get the same treatment from men. Lets face it, the beautiful people rule. I am just waiting the price for plastic surgery to be reduced  | |

Most so-called "hot guys" and "hot girls" only have thier appearance going for them and they know they aren't exceptional in any other substantial way. They may even be intelligent, but they know they aren't THAT intelligent. Its easier to be pretty than to be brilliant or talented.

That said...try this. go out to a bar with people in it (nightclub I suppose). Find a horrible ***hole of a man, and a stuck up princess **** of a woman...then count how many times they get hit on. In fact, that person is likely the person someone will later come up to you and complain about, then go back to. It's frightening.
I'm guilty of this too...fawning over women that don't give a rat's ass about me or anyone else. Difference is, I don't blame her for my unrequited attraction, I just get on with life. | |
