Don't be offended by that Kristy. Just because few people have actually approached you means nothing in what Loukas is saying. Since so many geeks/nerds/tards have low self-esteem when it comes to social interaction, we (I mean they), just don't even bother approaching an attractive woman, because in our minds, we "know" that we're just not good enough. It's not just a matter of intimidation - it's a social structure and balance thing. Plus if you often hang around with your friends, it creates a "shell" that makes it even more difficult for these guys to even mentally consider penetrating to try to talk to you.

And another possibility is that these geeks/nerds/tards may be pretending in their minds that they really are friends with you and that can be very detrimental as well - because it further enhances their feelings that you are forbidden fruit.
