I usually elbow my boyfriend or push him off the bed, then he wakes up and I pretend he woke me up...well...technically he did...lol Just teasing.
Between this post and another one of yours, I swear I've dated miss_teeq before! Man oh man that ex used to get kick me in my sleep so much, and then when I wake up my girlfriend she would pretend to be sleeping already.
To femmeinin: If it's sleep apnea he has, he may not need surgery. My dad was formally diagnosed with it and he uses a machine called a sea-pap (sp?) and it forces air into him. He sleeps just fine whenever he uses it, no need for the surgery which often doesn't work.

| Snoring... how do you deal with it?? Posted: 10/26/2004 8:06:53 PM | There is a train that goes by my house at least twice during the night and I don't hear it anymore. I wonder what it is about snoring that you never get used to it. I snore sometimes and I have awoken myself up. | |

| Snoring... how do you deal with it?? Posted: 10/27/2004 8:05:11 PM | I used to have horrible snoring problems and was often told that I used to sound like a frieght train roaring.... It used to be so bad that you can hear it upstairs or downstairs and eventually started getting worst where I would start snoring before I fall asleep!
Solution?
I went to a local doc who performed surgury to get rid of the snoring and any insurance will pay for it. After sugury and about 2 weeks of healing time. I haven't snored since and it has been about 2 years now.
If you truely love and want to stay with your man, and if he wants to stay with you... suggest surgury for him. It has done wonder for me.

| Snoring... how do you deal with it?? Posted: 10/28/2004 5:35:54 AM | I used to snore like a jackhammer, once I even woke my neighbours.
I found that sleeping on either my front or my side would temporarily stop the snoring but if I rolled over it would all start again. As a permanent solution I lost a stone in weight and the snoring stopped.

| Snoring... how do you deal with it?? Posted: 10/28/2004 7:39:22 AM | | I guess I got used to it. I find that when he stops snoring I wake up. Sometimes he stops breathing(apnea) and it only lasts a few seconds but when it happens Im suddenly awake and I poke him to make him start breathing again and Ill make him change positions so I can hear him breathe. I actualy sleep better when he snores, guess its kinda like rain on a tin roof. | |

Sometimes you shouldn't feel sorry for people who snore! Just shove his boxers in his mouth and get some sleep for the night!

one of those two people was a worse snorer than myself and we used to engage in nightly episodes of SNORE WARS
