That's a lovely poem to work with xlr!

And playing one special song
Just for us...
Lost amid a heaving throng
Of bodies dancing
Beats caressing ears
Let the music soothe your fears
Let the rhythm of life dry your tears

let the rhythm of life dry your tears
let the new dawn allay your fears
seek a beat that matches your heart
seek a lyric to set you apart
enjoy both the unusual and the trite
enjoy life around you with all your might

enjoy life around you with all your might
calmed listening relaxed natural delight
soothed gentle soul free whisper wind
released spirited travel savour begined
cycles harsh objected rebel against
Status Quo white washed picket fence
Beyond fences freely creatures roam
Forest rythyms natural respected home

Forest rythyms natural respected home
but there aint no respect for forests, where you from?
civilization was born in the desert
they came down from the trees
and clearcut the forest
because they were afraid of bugs
and invented slavery
to eventually
build aquaducts
then the visigoths invaded
and the civilization fell
you think we are different?
how?

(Muah my Rasko!)
How? Its an easy thing really
when you enjoy another
accepting them as is like a used car
some have high miles
and a pretty paint job
but run like crap
Others are all dinged up
dependable and great on gas
I kinda like whats my the road these days
it makes the drive interesting

It makes the drive interesting
Shined polished rewarded thing
But oh! passionate herald grand
Outer space seen Never land!

Throttle open past the stands!
Racing timeless heart held hands!
Spirited release in joyous sounds!
How simple rejoiced life abounds!

but can't with stand the likes of other kinds,
while others love deeply, some not enough,
you see that when you go to touch their "stuff"
while others travel around to give give give
while others take lives to live
laying up nicely in the penthouse mansion
still screaming for more expansion
all don't steal and tell lies,
while some emotions they do hide
some boast wonderfully about the brains they got
while others know, we just ain't got a lot
harvard minds that go insane
should common sense weigh more than brains?

How simple rejoiced life abounds!
in echos voice life rebounds
in search of hope forget the past
to grind things to their grounds

there is nuthing i wish to know dear
that i prayed for and forgot
theres no hope left that i held near
with brothers bleeding, lost and distraught

sorry sin. we should check in again one of these days

with brothers bleeding lost and distraught
lie corpses battlefields spirit haunt
given all their very youthful life
envisioned not trained for strife
ia all lost nothing gained?
Battled sacrifice unobtained?
bird song heralded forest floor
Relaxed natural free explore

(Cheers!)

Relaxed natural free explore
you've not got a lot of time
see all that you can see, no time to ignore
to find what you can find
don't go through life alone
not one of us has like minds
now go get out and roam
just make sure you don't bring him home

just make sure you don't bring him home
paraded loss pompous ceremony false sown
bags eyed cultured severed tossed caste aside
false idols moneyed salvitated greed lied

just make sure you don't bring him home
battle weary, fought cast aside, alone
fields lain distressed feathered bed embitter
couched chocolate mouse dreams hand twitter

keys of life bitterness played hollow joyous
resounded stark heralded song chorus
discarded bittersweet stench rotting smell
memories sweet new birth created smile tell

memories sweet new birth created smile tell
all is well along the walls of hell
mind distraught sometimes hollow, await
fate through the words that follow
reaching the half way point, while carrying pints
seems all deranged or damaged insight
pints, fifths and glasses of wine
all seem to take toll after a time
along life's highway you create what you smell
while talking pretending things kept swell
distressed loss culture now set a side,
now it seems you can enjoy the ride

now it seems you can enjoy the ride
oil spewed on shifting sands tide
more hay upon to hardly wait
seasoned trinkets garden gate
fertilized refuse once comrade
stoic laughing never frown sad
limousined coffin flag parade ride
polished stoic unmattered all in stride

polished stoic unmattered all in stride
love for me you can not hide
love to hate me... hate me to love
crappy as it seems it dies
all righteous as it seems
we all have our dreams
one to love exclusively, unconditionally
while conditions are set in reretrospect
heart help what we feel within
so coloured with blues, pink, and yellow shining
purple for broken, black for uncaring
what color are you wearing
is it the red blood of the warrior trodden
in the backyards of homes you've forgotten
What really is the colour of love?

What really is the colour of love?
No colour. Love transcends the obvious.
Love is like being struck by lightning
oblivated by all that has words.

Love swoops like a preying hawk
claws onto your heart.
Opens any shut door.
Love offers any lover, any parent, any friend...

A faint hope...touch eternity.
Little child pondering...
surrounded by love.
Love is something grand.

Love is something grand
You can't place a price on it
Like precious grains of sand
A golden heart held in your hand

A golden heart held in your hand
is something that never fails
there are so many types and brands
all at one time I 've held
precious love, like mother daughter
only I had sons, and parents love
to their children can never be slaughtered
I can even say I love my ex
we left on good terms
As long as you have care, compassion
trust to follow, then it doesn't seem so hollow
once you love, love stays
is falling out an option?
I like to think is stays and stays
turning in different ways

love is priceless.

love is priceless
in its unconditional state
beyond all space and time
it will always create
the essence of life
the easing of strife
the rising of peace
for love does release
the pain that won't hide
where hurt might reside
since you never can lie
when love's felt inside

warm, secure and true,
your laugh,
as the weight
of your arms
around me closes
out the world.
Happy Thursday,
I whisper,
kiss me.

I whisper kiss me
then close my eyes,
the taste of your lips,
the heat from your sighs.

As your hands caress
the shape of my face,
you pull me closer
into your warm embrace.

While you gaze upon me
you see into my soul.
Two hearts joined together,
we are now one, as a whole.

gardens groomed soft caress delight
forbidden night hallowed moon light

cherished soft cuddled gentle embrace
perspired glowing gentle heart raced
curves rounded traced throttle eased
forces laugh strength encourage teased

opened eyes speeded comfort soft
together soaring in starlight sky loft
simple complexity cherished hand
carresed eyes each soul understand

carressed eyes, each soul understand
that my love for my father, my child
my very longtime friend..is equal
to the first time you touched me, ignited
a blindness, love is more than this woman
this man, explaining a lust that may become love.

Love is an endurance course
in every particular case.
And every particular case
is the first time you touched me.
I was reminded..love . you.
let me say...did I love myself?

let me say...did I love myself?
ahh now arrives the real dilema
loving but not love in return
turn and burn? no, love never leaves
remember..
to give you more, overlook myself
wanting nothing more than to hold you,
and know you reside by my side
