ok, I learned the most from these responses. As an actor, prolonged eye contact in a scene is crutial so I'm very aware of the eyes. Its second nature. The problem I've had is getting caught looking when an actress was looking elsewhere for her cues and we were facing each other. Its a bit embarrasing. I know I'm not supposed to but in some cases you just can't help it. Last thing I want to do is make her feel uncomfortable. With some ladies, not being obvious is quite the task. I want to be a professional but some make it so much harder then it has to be (no pun intended). | |

OT: I remember this one time when my ex was moving out of his apt. His brother was around helping us, and I was talking to him in the apt while we were moving stuff. His eyes were totally on my breasts the whole time we were talking. So I talked to my ex and asked him to tell his brother where my eyes are. Apparently it was MY FAULT his brother was staring at my chest, beside the fact that I was wearing my scrubs (baggggggyyyyy pants and baggy loose t shirt)... right... thats my fault..uh huh | |

This behavior is one of the most puzzling I have ever encountered. Its like the notice me, but then again dont!
Thats called being hypocritical.
I made a thread that basically said the same thing, had the same theme with regards to profile pics. It got jumped on, twisted, distorted, and blown out of porportion.

Posted: 7/17/2005 1:45:33 AM | Here's a funny thing I realized about flirting long ago. When people stare at each other, it's not so much that we want to observe them visually. We're actually staring to send them a signal that we're interested. It's a very subtle exchange, but it's powerful. It's almost a subconcious thing. "Hey, look at me! I'm staring at you. I like you. What do you think of me?"
There's a difference though, when staring at a woman's chest. Most of the time you really are enjoying the view itself, but the effect is the same. She knows you're interested, at least in her body anyway.  Staring into her face, and especially her eyes tells her you're interested in her as a person, not just an amazing rack.
Just my two cents.
PS. I'd have to agree with Splog. A woman's offence at an oggling man is inversely proportional to her attraction to him. It's kind of a shallow double standard, but it's human nature. | |

There is a physical struggle between a man and a woman who is flaunting her tits. The man resists looking down while the woman stares at him, waiting for him to look down and then becomes annoyed when he doesn't....lol
Taking a look and then paying attention to them and looking them in the eye works best for me and I never get in trouble that way. It's like I'm already back at their eyes before they can say anything and then the moment is gone. Noticing isn't bad. Drooling on them and ignoring everything she says is bad. | |

As for the penis being 3 feet higher, don't fool yourself...the average, healthy woman has checked out how tight the jeans are and what kind of package the guy might have before she ever says her first hello.
