Posted: 7/6/2006 11:44:24 AM | I think it's easier for women to get some than men. Lots of women have no problem doing this. I however, am not in that category. I don't have the nerve to walk up to a complete stranger and ask him anything anywhere near that brave!!
The reason I think it's easier for women is because most - NOT ALL - men are looking for it anyways. Lots of women are too and that makes it easy for us to make it happen!

Step one ...put on sexy clothes
step two ...go to a club
step three ...say yes
However the quality you may be getting ... may be... rather questionable.
I guess half decent guys can sort of do the same thing, however there is a bias in our culture that the man has to do the work of the initial contact, it is extremely rare for a woman to risk rejection and come right out and approach a man, especially if she is good looking, however she may drop all kinds of hints and show signs that an approach would be welcome.
Seriously I am a good looking guy (or so i am told) and i have no problems going out to a club, showing off my sexy body and face, acting normal, and still after hours of socializing, not being approached by a single girl. Reverse that kind of situation and a good looking girl would have been approached numerous times.
…Just one of the many overlooked double standards that is typically embedded in our societal interactions.
Girls can get laid easily (with disgusting STD player boys) and guys can pee standing up, fact of life!
Such injustices are written into the fabric of reality, come on now, complaining about it is like trying to attack the sea, or outrace the setting sun. | |

It's harder for a guy to get some but not as hard as most ofthem will say. These days I think it costs about a weeks wages for an hour. It used to cost at least a months.
It's harder for a guy to find a girlfriend.
And it's imposible for a woman to find a "perfect man"
So it varies with what you wanted in the first place. | |

I've had both male and female friends who have done that. The results were predictable if surprising.
The girl had to ask five different guys before getting a "yes"
The two guys had to ask over a hundred different girls.
AND
None of the girls slapped the guys for asking. They just gigled and declined. | |

50/50 chance of talking to the duded gf! =- unless dude was gay or "just a friend".
and he asked in plain english something like "how wouldit be if we had sex?" - something like that. minimal conversation before popping it out.
Anways, the girl said she'd be more into it if she knew him better. - those were her words.

A male model goes to 10 women at a bar asking for the same. He recieves 0 yeses and 10 no's.
Its just a fact because as I've said here tones of times. Women are the choosers and men are the persuers. Women can get men a hell of alot more easily than men can get women.

I think it depends on whether you're talking about finding that one-and-only-"special"-shining knight-savior-"are you out there?" relationship...or (*clears throat)...action.
As a guy, it appears that women are generally a lot pickier than men in response to that flood of hormones that makes us do crazy things. Possibly because of that big fear of being stigmatized as a "ho", or maybe something to do with archaeological biology, or maybe women are smarter than us...no, scratch that last one. :D
When it comes to seeking a life-long mate, though, the scales are probably more balanced, with both sexes having a similar challenge finding someone.
It must be hard for women to muddle through the ignorant masses of overly aggressive boneheaded men who approach dating as a game of tricks (I guess a lot of women do that too but that's a different forum subject) and they make it harder for you to see the good ones that abound.
But in the end, I think it's hard for both sexes. What else could take so much time and effort from our lives?
Uh-oh...gotta run. A giant herd of beautiful, intelligent, witty, good-hearted woman are chasing me! AAaaaaahhhhh!
