| do women like being made love to anymore, or is it all about sex? Posted: 7/18/2005 5:14:52 AM | | It depends.. If you're having one of those nice, quiet nights that have you sitting in front of the fireplace.. it's a good time for lovemaking.. but, if you've been out drinking, having a ball or something rowdy.. it's a good time for sex. Am I wrong? | |

I love the animal part, but I'm often in the mood for "love making" that lasts several hours.

There's just something so much more romantic and enduring about the actual act of making love, that makes it that much more special. But on the flip side, sometimes you really do just need a good one.
I guess it's about reading your partner and what they're in the mood for.

It ain't that hard, just think of something non-sexual (like how they build chairs or something) without losing your boner. She'll love it.

I don't know, I've never done that, myself. It's sex to me. Someone from my past called it "making love" once and I did a double take. That term just has no bearing or weight with me.

MAKING LOVE IS WHEN ALL OF YOU IS INTO IT MIND, BODY, SOUL, AND SPIRIT ARE CONNECTING WITH THAT SPECIAL SOME ONE AND ITS GREAT. WOO !!!!!!!!! , BUT I THINK WE AS HUMANS ENJOY BOTH ASPECTS OF THESE RELATIONS. HEY IF IMMA GO IMMA GO ALL OUT WITH THE ONE IM IN LOVE WITH. NO HOLDS BARRED.( UNLESS THINGS GET A LITTLE SHAKY THEN HOLD ON )

But if with a life partner it can either be just physical *or* physical and emotional, which is when I think it becomes making love. To me there is a real difference... One is physically satisfying the other more intimate / sharing / joining of minds and hearts. How soppy!!! heh..

If we're going to do it, let's set aside enough time to do it slowly. I'd rather get it right than get it quick. I'd rather not do it at all if it has to be straight intercourse with none of the extras.
