Hi guys, just a wee note to say that the meet is still going ahead so please don't worry....nothing will spoil our fantastic nights in Madness!
As you have all noticed my profile and Kitty's have disappeared....don't know why and to be honest don't really care why. After the July meet we won't be back on POF so if anyone wants to get in touch with Steve from Madness to arrange further meets then feel free to do so.
See you all on July 18th....if this profile disappears don't worry, THE MEET IS DEFINITELY GOING AHEAD SO JUST TURN UP ON THE DAY X

As far as im aware the meets is still on!!!!!
Scrummy and Kitty have both had a problem with their profiles but i understand they are trying to resolve this.
I have messaged Stevie to check that Madness is still planning for the evening and will contact Scrummy today to get an update. As soon as i hear back i will post and update everyone.
Sorri to everyone for the confusion but im sure it will still go ahead as planned, i will change my profile settings so anyone can message me if they have any questions. | |

There is no hacker....no funny business....no police.....some people get pretty darn stressed when their profile is deleted but is it really such a big deal. Lets face it, we all have lives outside of POF and I think some people forget that! Lets not make a big thing of mine and Kitty's profiles disappearing....it's really just done us a huge favour and it means that certain people can no longer harrass Kitty so for that we will be eternally grateful!   | |

here this is my 2nd profile on here too as we all know there are hackers on POF 
but hey we still have our contact lines so they wont stop us coming back again
We are hopong to arrange and post a meet i Falkirk scrummy and it would be great to see yourself and kitty there & the other girls we have all met at previous meets & not to forget our male friends too as we cant forget them so watch this space
we will be posting details to see if they approve them on POF as soon as we get a date set for the venue we want to arrange ..
So we will all see you there and we will be kitted out as they say

what it meant was the Orig one i had was hacked and no longer there
so i had to start again with a new POF profile ..Hope that helps

These meets are about friendship even meeting partners LOADS HAVE ..steve wonderfull is just the most lovely funny man .. The forums are not for bitterness . slagging . These meets are not about anything exept bringing people together .. hacking profiles is terrible its childish .. Madness has my loyalty forever as thats exactly were i meet my best friend .. fish helped me get well after i was very very ill probably actully saved my life .. gave me a focus something to look fallward to .. yes i had loads frieds married ones .. It does matter profiles are being hacked and meets all over are being ruined .. because these meets are about friendship and bringing people together how dare anyone try to destroy wat is a wonderfull thing ..Anyone out there dont be put of meets loads stuff has been going on hacking profile and the profiles been used for sending nasty msg and posts .. The person doing so stop and think some people are lonely just looking for friends .. My meets were never to take from madness ever .. you cant compete with the madness crew ... get bums of chairs folks sign up .. i now expect my profile to go but had to speak up .... girlsgonehaywire,,dinamite .. get those bums of chairs .for a fantastic night in madness .people needs these meets .... Posted: 7/2/2010 4:52:43 AM | Thank you bambi for that .... its must just be me living in my ignorant bliss but i am completely unaware of most of what has been mentioned here recently but bambi is absolutely right ... the meets at Madness are intended to get people together, bring those out on a Sunday night who would otherwise be sitting in the house. I have been attending the meets for over 2 years now and have gained exactly that from them ..... an extended social life, many new friends, few very special ones.
thegirlsgonehaywire and myself are only standing in to keep up communication on the forum just now, this meet will be hosted by the usual suspects ..... Sharon and Kitty .... lets make it the best if its to be their last. | |

i have met lots of lovely people through going to maddness,and i wouldnt swap them,,,why would people want to hack other profiles,,do they know whos doing it n why,,?
this site is the only way i get to meet new people, cause i work n have a family,,like most.

Posted: 7/3/2010 9:29:18 AM | Not everyone whose profile has gone from here may have been hacked. It is possible if you report someone enough times their profile simply disappears from the system. It is not always due to hacking or any kind of conspiracy theory. But yes, people can take it upon themselves to delete people on other people's behalf, so maybe a lesson learned is, if you have issues with someone or another set of meet hosts, keep it off the site. Because if you aren't trying to get rid of another set of hosts, your friends might be doing it for you.
People can be deleted off here for any reason, nothing to do with the fact that they are meet hosts. As I recall all this was sparked off by a comment made by someone just after the previous meet thread which led to comments being said on meet pages on both sides and more than one host is apparently being harassed off the site as well. I don't know about the history and I don't care about it but it's a shame it spilled over onto here because look what's happened. All that's left are the Glasgow rock meets which won't suit everyone. If someone is going to host, get enough people to sign up as co hosts and give them uploading rights to the thread, even if you don't name them as hosts on the thread. It means that if you dissapear someone else can still post to the thread.
I actually think it's a bit late to be talking about how great the Madness meets were after some of the comments that have been written on the forums of late. If people want them to continue then the hosts are the people to tell or if other people want to take up the organising. It shouldn't be about competition or whose meet is the best, it should be about organising a night out that people want to attend, no more, no less.
If someone doesn't do something soon Scotland is going to be left with nothing. And given the numbers the Madness meets get that's a lot of people going to be left with nowhere to go.
So to the girls who are trying to organise the Falkirk meet, there are people out there who might just need that meet to happen. | |
