Posted: 12/28/2010 8:10:41 AM | | you seem to forget that the redskins, my sorry washington redskins were not picked to play and host the superbowl....yea the expectations are low if not nonexistent for most sane skinsfans but its gotta still hurt residing in the nfc east cellar when peter king,chris mortenson and all the talking heads picked you as the favorites....as a matter of fact, if there's anything that I can take some minor satisfaction out of is knowing that these same accursed washington redskins were the first ones to knock down the foundational structure in week one, and to do it on the games last play.....but hey like emmit smith was said ...5-9 or 6-10 it really don't make that much difference | |

We still got 4 teams that are out of the playoff picture, but still are in it...Who do you think has a chance making it in?
The Giants have a chance because Grossman won't do jack against their pass rush and the 'Skins defense can be run on all day. Plus, the Bears have incentive to take the Packers out of the playoffs with a win.
The Seachickens have a chance 'cause they're at home. I hope they don't because:
- I have many friends in Seattle I've been giving grief to all year about how lousy their division is.
- Winning a division at 7-9 is just embarrassing for the NFL.
- I like what Bradford has done for the Rams, and Steven Jackson deserves to have a shot at the playoffs after carrying the franchise for so long.
With Hasslebeck out, their chances just got much slimmer. | |

The Bears still have something to play for and that's getting the #1 seed. However, I say the Packers are a better team and will win it. The Giants don't seem to have it in them since the loss to the Eagles. But anything can happen...
What will amaze me if the the Saints win and the Falcons lose? Is that after owning the NFC for nearly 7 weeks or so, the Saints take it...That could happen too! | |
