| KILTS...Would you wear one? Date someone who did? Posted: 4/17/2009 3:08:08 AM | | Yes I have had relationships with 2 men in the past who were both Scottish born and who wore kilts for special events and occasions (weddings for example). Nothing wrong with a guy wearing one. | |

Oh god, if someone's wearing white socks and sandals with a kilt, please directing them to a quite space where you can dumb-slap them in private.
BOOTS... yes, boots are the only acceptable footwear! Then you counter the 'girly' perception with a manly one... the perfect balance.
OF Course, if it's FORMAL, then dress shoes and black socks (ala the Scottish tradition) are acceptable, but in North America, it may give you a bit more of the sissy look than you want. :-)
HA! People are reading fashion suggestions from ME!!! I love the internet.

I went out with a Scotsman (the best accent in the world!) and he told me it was the Irish who started wearing kilts first. I think they're awesome

I'm up for a public art commission; I present my idea Monday. If I get it, I'll make you a deal -- I'll get my first kilt, buy you a coffee and do a little catwalk spin for you. (It's high time we meet anyway just so we don't gouge each others eyes out in the forums one day. )

It`s a true defination of a Scotsman/Irishman and Celt.

To my two favorite co-workers whom I know are spying on me, (you know who you are) Kilts can be very cute ... if wearing it while drinking green beer... and it has a hose ... nevermind....

| KILTS...Would you wear one? Date someone who did? Posted: 5/3/2009 6:20:15 PM | I saw a man at an historic site in Massachusetts wearing one, he was just touring like the rest of us and wearing a concert T-shirt with it. He looked completely ridiculous, it was canvas/khaki, no clan plaid Had he been wearing a bikini top and a sarong he would have looked equally foolish. But put him in a processional; wedding, parade, funeral with a set of bagpipes and I will follow him to the ends of the earth. Nothing sexier than the Policeman/fireman bagpipe crew. | |

| KILTS...Would you wear one? Date someone who did? Posted: 7/20/2009 4:10:33 PM | Considering I'm mostly Irish and I love Ren Faires, yes! Not enough guys wearing kilts at events though.
I am normally with the traditional way of wearing them but the Texas Knights (a chapter of the SCA that's from Texas) are my exception. Guys in kilts, no shirt, and a cowboy hat. Not traditional, but still very hott.
