I saw a profile of a woman, late 40's, said she's a hairstylist and thus doesn't want any bald men emailing her...and she prefers her men with hair. I dunno, at her age, can she really afford to be that picky?
Apparently her occupation justifies her requiring fully haired men to date. lol

I can't help it. I like to have some hair to cut and run my fingers through. That doesn't mean that if I met and fell in love with a wonderful man that I'd dump him if he was to shave his head shiny.

I was supposed to say, "Oh YESSIR! I am such an old rotten hag that I want to go out with you whether you have a shiny head or not, even though it's just not something I like, as a matter of fact, I would love to go out with ANYONE.

My hairline began receding when I was 17. Circa 1994 I grew my hair out to its current length...my last SO threatened me with bodily harm if I ever cut it short, so I kept it while time marched on.
Lately I've been contemplating going buzz-cut or shaved. I polled some friends and another Internet forum. The forum response of "own it and shave" was nearly overwhelming. I'd add that said forum is populated mainly by younger men. Of my friends (mostly women in their 20s-30s), only one is pro-shave, the rest are "don't touch it, you look fine."
Every hairdresser I've talked to about it opines that I should leave it alone, too. I know in the end this is my choice, I'd just like to see what a different demographic thinks. | |

As men get older their hair roots get deeper. If the roots reach gray matter then you get gray hair. If there is n no gray matter to feed the hair then starvation sets in and the hair falls out ipso facto - Bald
