First, be sincere.
Second, break your profile into paragraphs and proof it for proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. There are a lot of commas without spaces after them, and that makes it difficult to read.
Being self-motivated is great, but is there really so much about yourself that you don't care for that you feel you need to change something every year?
Okay, random tattoos of celebrities? Is that something you really do, or are you trying to be funny? Also, sitting in your room to watch a movie vs watching a movie at home...do you see the difference? Kids sit in their room, adults watch at home.
I love that you were in the military, and I think you for your service. So, did you not date for those 9 years, or are you recently out of a relationship?
And finally, you say...lemme fill ya in on what I'm here for. Is this typically how you speak? If so, leave it in. If not, consider revising. Just know that a mature person might talk this way when joking with friends, but it isn't a good idea when trying to make a positive first impression. Follow up with actually filling someone in on the reason you are here -- are looking for woman who loves outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, swimming, etc.), and do you want to settle down and raise a family?
Write your profile in a word processing program (like Word), run spell check and read it to yourself out loud. Is what you hear what you intend so say?

I took care of the commas and as far as spelling and grammar I'm fairly certain I've polished it to perfection now.
I change things that honestly everyone should be willing to change. One year I made it my goal to quit smoking, which I did. Another year I made a concious effort to become a nicer person, since I had begun to realize I had become rather nasty towards others. My self improvement is really just about me becoming a better person, I know I'll never be perfect but I do strive for it.
The random tattoos thing was a joke, I'm random like that so I figured a "joke" like that fits in with my style of humor. I have not and do not plan on getting any random tattoos,especially of celebrities.
I did not date while I was in the service for a few reasons. I spent over 3.5 years overseas so dating during those years was out the window for me and quite honestly I was a bit wary after seeing numerous men come back home expecting their wives to be there and reality left them with an empty house and bank account. So I was a bit...worried about possibly giving that much of myself up. I'm over that fear now though.
I took the "Lemme fill ya in on why I'm here" line out and replaced it with my "requirements", it was really just a space saver for me. | |

about what you want; i wouldn't put physical attributes to what you are looking for, it comes off as arrogant to say you only like a certain race, etc. and besides, you can weed out who you don't like as you move forward.
