Why? Because...it's 2005, women are independant, working hard as much as men or even more in some cases....we are no longer dependant on MEN like years and years ago...if that was the case, knock urselves out and post 100 pics of your car(s), maybe that would be "cool", however, in today's world...such things are not really appealing to us, women. We make a living, we are able to buy ourselves things, we don't need men to do that like women did years ago. The man would be a provider and the woman would wait and beg for some money to buy herself something. It's an INSULT to me and to women when you post pics like that - what are we? Poor? Inadequate to be employed and make a living and make our own $$$? It makes you a MAN that you post a pic of your brand new Benz? So what??!!??!! Maybe I have one too or the girl in the next profile to mine as well....think about that! | |

I used to be an athlete and a bookworm, so I have trouble with this holing of pigeons. And to define "geek"-- well, most of the geeks I knew were anti-social, not a quality that gets most women hot below the belt.

NO, no, no, Honey...nobody uses a slide rule anymore, not ALL geeks are good at math (I think I read somewhere that Einstein was lousy at basic math), and very few PEOPLE play chess anymore.
But you're computer-literate (obviously...you're here AND you post in the forums, and in an articulate manner, I'd like to add), and you're obviously bright. Further than that, you list woodworking, guitars, history, and photography as hobbies - those are pretty technical; you're an HVAC something-or-other...again, very technical. You qualify, Baby...use it!

A guy that can get different woman every night has only to satisfy himself....If she's not happy, he'll move along to the next poor woman....This and all tehse comments are generalizations of course....I am sure there are really good looking guys that are great in bed, but maybe they can't hold a conversation except about sports and sex....Here's another generalization....I have noticed that younger woman go more for looks, but as they get older they learn that looks aren't what's important, and go for what matters, what's in a man's brain and his heart... | |

Posted: 10/17/2005 4:38:28 PM | Because guys like that know how to appreciate a woman. They take full advantage of learning all they can about what makes a lady happy. Since they aren't getting it too often, because of the label they have been given, they tend to be very appreciative when they do.
Some of the hottest sex I've had has been with "nerdy" guys. The worst sex I ever had was with a guy who was very hot and popular. I think those guys just think they have to show up and don't do anything to prepare.
Finally, I think the brain is the biggest sex organ there is. There is nothing sexier than a smart man.

So most of us don't drive the BMW, most of us don't have the pretty face, most of us don't have the gangster role in our pocket. However, when you come to us for something that you can't do yourself, unknown by the guy brushing his hair and blowing himself kisses in the Benz, who thinks that all he needs to get far in his life is his Car, his Hair and his little sparkle in his eye as he smiles at you. We can do it as good, If not better than him because of ONE little thing.
It’s the smile on the girl’s face that we cherish....
Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

A nerd is someone whose life revolves around computers and electronics. A geek is someone whose life revolves around computers and electronics and likes it!
There seems to be a bit of truth to that. True nerds are rarely happy people. Geeks have the advantage of posessing a lot of the same skills but are generally happier and not quite as socially inept.
These days being known as a geek is almost a compliment while being a nerd still has all the negative connotations it has ever carried. | |
