Fellow geek here (I seriously want a cat so I can name him Spock). I think the appeal is also that geeks like to live life by their own tune and are happy in their own little worlds. Not saying I'm stunning, but I like the idea of a guy who can intellectually stimulate me and keep me interested in conversation then go from there. Drives me crazy! If that's what you call a geek, then bring him on!  | |

Posted: 5/12/2007 2:38:34 AM | Artist, I would have to disagree with you; you are pretty stunning. That being said, I would have to agree that geeks tend to live to their tune and are maybe a little more sensitive to the thoughts and feelings of another human being.
I think we all know someone, who on initial contact ,seemed gorgoues but the more we get to know them their self centered nature or rudeness to others diminished that attractiveness. The same is true in reverse, sometimes you meet someone who is not so attractive and their personality makes them more attractive the longer you know them | |

That's pretty true about them being emotionally perceptive (at least many of the ones I know)! I imagine that's why most geeks tend to keep to themselves and are selective about who they spend their time with. | |

Posted: 9/19/2007 1:05:10 PM | What makes someone a geek, though? I work in the IT field, I like comic books and science fiction movies, I can spell and, more often than not, use grammar correctly. I also like motorcycling, I work on being VERY physically fit, and I play rugby.
I can have tons of conversations not involving my penis, in fact I wouldn't even consider talking about it unless it comes up  , but that doesn't mean that sex is unimportant to me, quite the opposite.

Geeky guys are more likely to approach us cute/attractive girl, you see they have nothing to lose.
I rarely get approached by guys, and to be honest/modest i think they're intimidated by me.
So needless to say my ex was beaten w/ the ugly stick, but guess what he thought he was the hottest thing to hit earth when he had me on his arm.

It more likely means that she isn't shallow enough to only go for looks.
Why arent there any shallow women only interested in sex
There are plenty of women who want sex. But they don't want everyone for sex. From what I've read and discussed with people, looks are just a way to get noticed. They don't guarantee a relationship, or even sex.
