She then told me how she had found her dad hanging in a closet when she was twelve. This was after some mild make out. I took her home posthaste. Posted: 8/12/2012 3:41:12 PM | A gentleman I met on here a couple of years ago. We dated for a few months. He suggested we go to the Oktoberfest here. It was an hour or more away and I wasn't familiar with the route so he drove. (a very expensive Audi that I was sure turned into a sub or something ) When we got there we met up with a couple that was friends with him. 20 min later he dissapeared with the guy part of the couple leaving me with the a female I didn't know. (I'll add she was decent company). Over and hour later we finally found the guys. He was SO drunk he could barely walk. It took me 40 min to get him the car as we kept having to stop for him to drunk text someone. I had NO idea how to get home. I got him into the car, called a friend, got directions and proceeded to drive him and his car home while he threw up in my purse all the way home. (I didn't want him to puke in his nice car). Once we got to his apartment he was unconcious so I carried him "fireman" style (he was a thin marathon runner type thank god) up two flights of stairs and put him to bed. Slept on the couch checking that he didn't die. I never got a "thank you" or a "I'm sorry". He broke up with me later via "text" and told all our friends we were broken up before he bothered to tell me.

To make a long story short, when he went to take me home, I was in such a hurry to get out of his vehicle that my short dress accidentally caught on the seat and I mooned him!! He was the last man on earth that I wanted to see my butt..... No more thongs and short dresses for me. | |

We'd gone through the usual messaging, texting, chatting route for a couple of weeks and then arranged to do something. Both agreed to spend an afternoon together and see how it went. Plan was to go bowling (always fun, right? Bit of banter about me beating him an all that), probably see a film if it went well (we'd picked one out that we both liked the look of) and then maybe something to eat.
So, he came to pick me up...and texted me from his car on the drive to say he was here. Thought that was a bit strange, but y'know...whatever. Then we go off bowling. Played 4 games, had a laugh, I beat him on 3 of them and there was a bit of gentle ribbing going on. Then we decided that we would go watch the film. So off we go. I paid, as he'd paid for the bowling, and we settle down. Halfway through, he whispers that he needs the loo and off he goes.

Recently I met a guy on here, we had a lot in common and I thought he was attractive. Then we exchanged numbers and decided to meet up for a drink. I'm not sure how common it is on here to meet someone who does not look like what you had in mind from thier pictures. I am barely 5'4". I was wearing boots with a short heel, and when he walked in we were eye level. His profile says he was 5'8". (First red flag). Then I notice that he is a lot smaller than he looked in his pictures. The camera really does add 10 pounds. Within the first 10 minutes he tells me why he joined POF. His ex of over 4 years broke up with him and he went through a bad depression and just got out of detox a few weeks ago. But then he reassured me that in the last 4 weeks he has really calmed down, doesn't drink much anymore, and is totally over his ex. Then he says if his ex wanted to talk things over again he would hear her out and see where it would go. SERIOUSLY??? Then he orders a double Jack and coke. And within an hour, he downs 2 more****ails to my one beer. He kept asking me if I found him attractive "Do you like my muscles? Are they too big? Do you like me? Girls always tell me I have amazing eyes cuz they're so wild. I think that's why cats like me." He also kept asking me what I do to workout. I told him about 5 times that I mostly do yoga. Then we talk about how I was a gymnast when I was younger and he asks, "So you used to be in shape? Because you could be like that again. You just need to tone up and do some cardio." I'm a f***ing woman. I think I am well aware of how I could look better. I told him I needed to go home and wash my cat and left. | |

He pulls out my chair for me, and seem to be an alright guy. he tells me that i'm even better looking in person and other flattering stuff. he orders prime rib for dinner for himself. We are having a good conversation, and the food arrives. this man picked up his piece of prime rib with his fingers in one entire piece and begins to chew off the fat on the meat. Then puts it back on the plate and wipes his mouth on the sleeve of his shirt! I sat there stunned! He continued to eat this way until it was gone. As if that were not bad enough, after the plates were removed, he sat there sucking his teeth making these God-awful noises. I wanted to crawl under the table and disappear. I was never so happy to leave a place in my life! But as we are going out the door, he runs into this woman coming in. She looks up and said to him, Jim what are you doing here? He fumbled for words and i couldn't understand one of them. they look like they are having a heated discussion, so i wander away and wait. When he joins me, I asked "what was that all about?" He replies "Oh don't worry about it, that was my wifes sister."
I said you mean your EX-Wife? Awww No the one at thome, I told her I had a church meeting tonight. i was so glad that i always drive myself to a date, because i left him standing there. I hope his wife met him at the door with a rolling pin or something equally dangerous! NOTE tO MEN: table manners are important, and cheating husbands do get caught! | |

She was pretty cute and friendly so i said, yeah why not. Go to bar and sit down, shes drinking vodka and lemonades. First thing she tells me is how she got raped by a scottish fellow... I was like umm ok, are you ok now? Then she starts talking about her ex-boyfriend about how hes a****and all that. When we got outside she passed out on the ground. I got some help and the ambulance said she pretended to pass out... All my friends had a good laugh when I told them the next day at least. | |

Posted: 8/27/2012 5:05:20 PM | I wouldn't consider it a bad date, but odd. I met a man from POF for a drink at a happy hour and he made it clear that he dislikes noise and noisy environments. So when the waitress asked if we wanted to order anything, even an appetizer, he immediately said 'no' without even asking me.
So we left and on the way to our cars I pointed out a stray momma cat with her kittens. I knew he was an animal lover. He was very interested in them and he was tempted to go home and bring back cat food for them. Then we decided to walk through a small village we both live near. I pointed out a skunk and he went running chasing after it, to get a better look. OMG!!! Like a little kid might do, lol! And he is my age - 50! Thank goodness he didn't get too close to it or I would have ended it then and there. Then we went and sat in a park watching a woman play with her toddler son. I was so not into any of this. Would have much preferred to stay at the happy hour and drink and eat and talk. I dealt with it by clamming up and giving one-word responses.
So the date ended. I don't know why but a day or two later I agreed I would be open to seeing him again. I think he is attractive and therefore willing to give him a second chance. He suggested coming over to my place. I said only on the condition that there will be no sex. I don't know if he was joking but he started writing back 'No sex?' Then he wrote that he was feeling kind of tired. I said "well I know what I am good for" and told him to move on. He said he was just joking. | |
