Hogan is doing it for ego like flair. They don't want to retire HBK was smart he got out while he was still at his peak and he has no plans on returning to wrestling.

He is retired from wrestling
He actually had a spinal stroke in 07 but he's recovered enough that he can get around normally.

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 12/22/2011 4:43:15 PM | I use to watch WWE but its too censored, too many little kids and too much Cena. I want the RAW of the WCW/WWF Monday Night War. I want them to make new superstars which is how they beat WCW to be honest.
But now I just watch cheap smaller wrestling companies like Ring of Honor and buy imported wrestling dvds. I could give TNA a chance though its a lot of big names that quit WWE like RVD, Rhyno, Hogan, Flair, Jeff, Kurt, and a slew of others that pop up here and there. Wish Raven would come back hes been my favorite since WCW and ECW.

HHH is the COO though of the company. I think Vince is keeping the CEO job in the meantime in hopes of Shane coming back to the company, because i know Vince was dissapointed when Shane decided to leave and do other projects, but i think Shane will come around and end up becoming the new CEO of the company in time.

Apparently he's terrible, but I wouldn't tell him that to his face

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 1/5/2012 8:16:15 AM | | trh1268. Lex Luger is not in jail. He is broke and had a disease that paralyzed him for a while. He currently weighs less than 200 lbs and has a hard time getting around. Last I heard he was living in a room at a church and does speeches to kids about dangers of drugs among other issues. He works a lot with the church now. | |

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 1/5/2012 8:18:33 AM | | HHH and Stephanie will be running the company, not Shane. HHH is learning the ropes of how the company in ran now in every aspect. One reason Shane left was because he was never chosen to be CEO in the future. Stephanie is more like Vince and Shane is more like Linda when it comes to business. | |

You should check out the Don Tony & Kevin Castle FB page and have fun spirited debates on wrestling. :)

You end up having to do things when way past your prime, or doing "Rent to Own" commercials. Flair is on his 4th marriage. Has this dude never heard of a pre-nup? And Hogan was cleaned out by his gold digger teenager dating wife.
Flair in his prime was incredible. Nobody could cut a promo like he did or even now for that matter. These days wrestlers are unfortunately closer to cartoon characters than anything else.

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 1/10/2012 4:32:36 PM | I find Flair to be pretty overrated.
Sure, he has had some great stuff, but for the most part, it's really repetitive and not as fun to watch as claimed.
During Flair's prime I believe that Randy Savage was a better worker than him.
Randy's mic work was also great.

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 4/23/2012 9:59:11 PM | | Boxing got a bad rep because of the amount of fixed fights it was exposed to over the years. Not to say that boxing is fake by any means it's a legit sport but it has been pretty damaged with the amount of rigging that has happened in its sport over the years to give Boxing that black-eye (no pun intended). But even sports like MMA aren't safe from being rigged. Remember Elite-XC? Big time rigged. Fighters used to get paid under the table to take dives or not use certain moves to make the fight last longer (Kimbo Slice vs Seth Petruzelli comes to mind). No sport is safe from being rigged. | |

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 6/13/2012 9:30:54 AM | How have we gone this far in the discussion thread about pro wrestling and we haven't mentioned the one promotion that for 10 years has been consistently giving wrestling fans what they want- R-O-H! R-O-H! R-O-H! It's promotions like Ring Of Honor, PWG, CZW, Dragon Gate USA, Evolve and Jersey All-Pro Wrestling that keep me watching.
As for the Evil Empire, it's all about Daniel Bryan! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 7/7/2012 3:36:22 PM | | I used to be a huge fan of WWF/WWE but i lost alot of interest when it became the PG13 era i think the storylines are not as good anymore. But as people mentioned earlier on the attitude era was the best. | |

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 7/7/2012 8:12:18 PM | | Ric Flair is still wrestling?!? I haven't followed WWE or used to be WWF in ages. I knew WWE was going really down hill when John Cena kept getting the mic and HHH got all the power and story lines. It pays to marry the owner's daughter. | |

| Looking for those who want to discuss WWE, Pro Wrestling Posted: 7/8/2012 2:05:04 PM | | WhyIsEverythingITypeTaken - the problem with WWE these days is? poor writing, to many restrictions, and continue to book cena in the main event. I only got back into wrestling last year because of punk's scripted pipe bomb, and of course masked kane return, even though his return has had a mixed bag. But overall its so frustrating seeing the direction WWE has gone down, since 2006 | |
