What's your outgoing messages like to women?
Ask one or two questions based on her profile. Be creative in your header - don't use the generic "hi" etc.
Inject a touch of humour into it.
Don't ask/beg her to reply to you/check you out.
Don't comment on her physical attributes.
Don't call her "hun" etc.
Since you state you 'drink often', some women may see that as being a bit of a lush. ( OK, just read message 3, but still, some woman may view you as a problem drinker. )
