| What is the first mental thing you look for in a partner? Posted: 5/22/2012 4:09:12 AM | Someone who respects other people and treats everyone well, from the waiter or barman to their best friend. I don't mean just in a dry, 'please and thank you' way but someone who will smile and have a joke with anyone they meet.
If they respect other people they may well respect me and treat me well. Apart from that I find a man with great manners and who is interested in people very sexy.

Also I look for usage of big words. That's a big no no followed by a runner. I never bring a dictionary on a date.
well that is me out the wooden sash window frame sealed in perspicasious material that breaks when I smash it with a hammer.
Seriously? That is a deal breaker with you? Someone who happens to remember words like others (aka often men) who waste valuable brain space remembering which footballer scored how many goals in one season during the 1985 final? Sheesh lol. I am discombobulated.
As for the first mental thing...sod it, if they appear more normal than me, they are onto a good wicket...though I could be a tad bored.

If someone has the same sense of humour and we can 'bounce' so to speak off each other then it is great fun.. As long as it does not end up in either a power struggle to win points or in put downs .

I have received a classical university education, yet I always have to giggle like a little boy when I hear high school (or almost high school) educated people using big words to impress others. Who are you guys trying to kid ?
At least you are mildly entertaining...for a while. Bogans who have learned a few big words are always fun.
Next.....TAXI !

Yes, I remember the bevens. But nowadays its Logan Bogans. But I'm not sure if you have to be from Logan shire or city to be one. But its all cool. Someone has to work in the factories and warehouses, and someone has to drive the three hundred dollar car with the 16 hundred dollars worth of mags and the 3000 dollar stereo system.

Actually this is a mild winter. I'm wearing a T-shirt and tracky pants...and only one doonah on the bed at night. It has been worse, but I quite enjoy the cool months.
When I was a kid, I watched the movie "Long Hot Summer" with Paul Newman. I loved the heat back in my teen years. I'd go surfing when ever I could, on my surf ski. Now I just jump into the back yard pool.
I see a lot of young girls wearing their short denim skirt with the ughh boots.
Devens are die hards lol

My Son was down there a few weeks ago for the Physics Olympiad -- and the weather was not mild...
at the moment up here it is singlet and tracky weather--- if the fan is on 1.
You know it is truly cold if the fan goes off.
Oh, and on topic (as we will be reported if we don't stay on topic)
I like banter with a person.
It does not need to be academic, but it does have to hit home for me...
I recollect chatting to one man, because we both envisioned his Martini glass to be filled with straight green cordial.
