Not all women or men, however old they get, grasp that 'sexy' isn't the same thing as underwear, shaking your butt, or physical appearance. All these things and others are merely clues/indicators, and nothing is more ridiculous looking than someone trying to be sexy by using tricks and props they aren't fully comfortable with. End of the day what makes women over 40 sexy is whatever they do to turn a man on, (and every man gets turned on differently.) | |

Yes!!! I have seen MANY women in their 40's who are incredibly beautiful physically. Gorgeous faces, fantastic figures... stunning! Do they look just like someone in their 20's - nope - but they look even better to me!
They know what grace, class, and confidence are.
They know the difference between good-looking and attractive.
They know that the way you treat others is the way you will be treated yourself.
They are happy with themselves. and not always trying to be someone else.
They can hold a GOOD conversation. (Did you know Casanova considered good conversation the best foreplay - the first step in a seduction?)
They know that Sean Connery is as sexy as Brad Pitt.
They know the difference between 'wanting' and 'needing'.
They know how to get what they want!

I find it extremely depressing and I certainly don't see any men around my area rushing to e-mail me. As far as women over 40 being sexy? Not speaking for myself, but I think women of this age for the most part are beyond the foolish concerns that occupied us so much when we were younger. Older women are not only more experienced and mature, we've also had time to think about things in a deeper way than a younger woman has. | |

It's not about the hair, the makeup, all the stuff we used to spend all sorts of money and time on and agonize over just the right shoes....haha!! Pffttt....it's not about that at all, by 40 hopefully we've learned that. And yes, I do still enjoy getting ready to go out, but it's just different....if you aren't paying attention and time to nurture what's most beautiful about you, no clothes or makeup will compensate.
If we aren't attractive being US and laughing if we get caught out in the rain our hair gets wet, and we lose a heel because our shoes are soaked....and still have fun AKKK what's the point? And yes, I have walked in with a heel in my hand, walking lopsided, soaking wet...and laughed myself silly. It's all in the attitude, don't sweat the small stuff and most of it IS the small stuff. | |
