Some women, by 40, have become bitter and angry, and they are toxic to allow into your life.
No doubt, though, that a beautiful, positive 40 something woman is a treasure, and the same can be said of a beautiful positive woman in her 50s.
God save me from the "not so much" ones, though. They'll make life a living hell, if you let them. Excellent point ... I couldn't agree more.
I have worked with such women and they were indeed toxic. Had the nerve to complain that men weren't interested and were insanely jealous if other women had really nice men/boyfriends.
I was actually grateful at the time that I didn't have a boyfriend ... didn't want to be in the line of fire from them.  | |

There is so much to be said about a 40 somthing woman. I was once asked what is the one thing that turns you on about an older woman. (Iwas under 40 at the time) and responded ...they have their s%&t together.
I think women over forty carry themselves with confidance. They know where they've been and where they want to go. They understand themselves and their sexuality. The trend today lends itself to women taking care of their bodys much more. A woman over forty knows both how to make love and how to just have sex. They are less inhibited and can have fun in the bedroom well bringing experience to the table. They are exciting because they know how to be a lady and you know that they know how to please a man.
I'm trying to answer this for myself at the same time I'm trying to write it down here. I'm not sure I can with out a great deal of thought on the subject. I just know that a well kept, fasionable woman over forty, gets my attn very quickly..... | |

Whats not sexy about a woman over 40?
Women over 40 are not a monolith. They are as individual as women in their 20s or 30s. Some are very sexy, and some "not so much".
A woman who is beautiful at 40, will most likely be beautiful for the rest of her life, because it takes more effort, and says more about her, than a woman who is beautiful at 20.
Some women, in their 40s, who have a positive attitude, will likely always be positive, because they have, no doubt, handled adversity, and retained their overall optimism.
However, some women at 40 have let themselves go, and are angry that anyone notices. Some women, by 40, have become bitter and angry, and they are toxic to allow into your life.
No doubt, though, that a beautiful, positive 40 something woman is a treasure, and the same can be said of a beautiful positive woman in her 50s.
God save me from the "not so much" ones, though. They'll make life a living hell, if you let them. : roll :

A friend of mine just found me on a facebook, we used to work together. She is almost 60 now. I knew her and met her 10 years ago. I could not believe my own eyes when I saw her images posted, I practically have not recognized her. She was always sexy when I knew her but in addition to it, she appeared glowing with happiness, she lost so much weight, although she was never big. She confined she left her last husband, and threw herself into dancing, that's how she was able to deal with turmoil, she met a new man and bang she fell in love. I saw her wedding pictures and she looks absolutely fabulous, beautiful, stunning and exudes sexiness around her.

We do definately have our sh** together and we do know at our age what we want and where we want to go. And yes we definately know what to do in the bedroom I think we're more experienced and know how to please and what pleases us.....We've experienced more of life and we we're more intune with our bodies and minds than say a younger female and I think that makes us sexy in a way too because we're more confident and I don't just mean in the way we dress either. I think that with age comes experience, peace of mind, confidence and less inhabitions......I just know that when you know what you want and carry yourself a certain way it comes across as sexy, I've had many men single and married men tell me I'm a sexy momma so I guess it comes with age......And I'm not neccessarily saying it's only women (or men) over 40 it's just like a previous post stated as we age we're like a fine wine......we just get better :) | |

I have a firm beleif that when you are with someone long enough..years and years...you are free to do anything to them and you become free and strong..you learn yourself, emotionally, sexually..your likes and dislikes...and you express yourself freely.. | |

Posted: 8/15/2008 9:24:05 PM | It's EVERYTHING! Her confidence, at this age she is calm and comfortable (ok more comfortable) with herself, she is more reassured. She has wisedom she didn't have when she was 25 or 30. She has direction in her life that that affects her confidence and physical presense.
Not to mention, she knows who she is, what she wants and is not affraid to either ask for it or take it. If she still has her girlish looks , then she is that much sexier. I've been dating women in their 40's since my 20's and I have enjoyed every minute of it. | |

It all depends on your age range. All single and some married men will bed a woman no matter what. We all know there are older women out there that want a younger man. My personal reason why I like over forty women is tha they are real women and not the typical young woman whose body resembles a porn stars. Yes I admit I have looked at too many porn sites and grown numb to the younger fake boob types. | |

It's worth sharing - I'm approached a lot these days by younger guys when I'm out (guys in their mid to late twenties), who tell me they love the idea of finding an experienced woman in her late 30's/early 40's. It happens a lot!
My answer is I know exactly what I'll be bringing to your party, but sadly I've already experienced what you're bringing to mine!...

It has to be life's experiences that make you more comfortable with yourself therefore making it more comfortable to interact with others. I am far more comfortable being friendly with strangers now. My son thinks sometimes I already know people I talk to in public that are strangers just because of the ease of which I converse with them. 
How wonderful it is to feel self assured and be able to express your opinions freely. I love being at this age, I wouldn't trade it at all. The older I get the better it is living and the happier I am. I believe there is still so much to look forward to. I am sure my future relationships will be far superior to past ones. There is no way I will ever put up with some of the silly nonsense I did when I was younger.
I have learned to love and accept myself flaws and all, makes it a lot easier to just be yourself and not worry what anyone else thinks. After all everyone is flawed. At least I know I am for real and not fake.  | |

Posted: 8/27/2008 4:55:52 PM | i,m sure its been said before, but i find women over 40 (sometimes younger) have developed so many qualities over the years, they,ve usually been in a long term relationship where they took care of others, husband, children, friends etc as women get older they realise they have a lot they want to achieve so they begin to live an even richer life than before, they take pride in themselves, demand what they want, and live the way they want, sometimes they,ll be lucky and have a partner who uderstand there needs but if not they dont care and live a life of independence, pride and fun. i work as a teacher to teenage girls who flirt like no ones business but i always tell them the same thing, when you have a few wrinkles like your mum come and find me.. no matter what anyone says as you get older life becomes a lot better for both men and women...it only gets boring if you make it.. and i have to say this..sorry if it offends but the older a woman gets the more exciting and adventurous she is in bed.. | |

Bright eyes, nice skin (even a good makeup job is amazing to me), being thin is attractive to me. Its a package deal, though. Something "overall" that I cant describe.
I think by 40 either you're still good looking or your DNA/environment/lifestyle wasnt kind to you. There isnt much in between | |

When I was 22, I dated a really stunning girl that guys would break their necks to get a second look at even If I was holding her hand right next to her. It was like I wasn't even there.
She was the worst sex I had ever had though.
Through life, personality and character seemed to indicate not only a better friend, but it directly correlated to how good a lover they were.
Young girls seem more self conscious, and nervous, and there seems to be more things running around in their head in normal life and in bed.
Older women seem more relaxed and focused, and seem to be able to let go and enjoy themselves more. Of course there are exceptions on both sides. | |
