The same thing that makes a 25 year old woman sexy. Attitude, confidence, how she carries herself, the phase of the moon, and how many sunspots there are. It is nothing set in stone, and it is different with every woman. What I think is a sexy as hell woman could be a "meh, she's okay" from another guy. You just know it when you see it. | |

Confidence, the ability to shut up and listen, to put her own needs aside once in a while, non-materialismn.....

I've met older girls who act 18, and younger girls who are well grounded and in tune with their lives and wants.
Emotional maturity is sexy as hell, physical maturity varies state to state. A vintage mustang can be the hottest thing on the road, or a rustbucket, dependin on where's she's been and how she's been maintained. | |

My "old" 89 year old neighbor ( a widow) was still a sexy woman in my eyes. She was friendly, opinionated, engaging, had many friends (both men and women) and she unabashedly flirted with all the younger husbands on the streets who loved to flirt back with her. She was a blast and I'm sure my old street is not the same now that she has passed:(
My other neighbor, a married woman in her late 70s, was not only sexy, but she was a very attractive woman. Always well groomed and with her hair and nails just so and she always smelled so good...very sexy woman and yes, she still turned head. Which she thought was funny because she had never "felt" attractive when she was younger...she claimed that she simply "grew" into her looks. I attribute it to confidence and the love of a good man...her husband was as sweet as she was:)
And if this thread was about what makes men sexy over the age of 40, my answer would be along the same line. I can think of many "older" men who are sexy.
I met one yesterday while I was out...late 70s at least and oh so cute...and he flirted with me the little devil, which of course I was more than happy to "oblige"...haha...anyway, he helped make my day a little brighter and hopefully it did the same for him too:)

The ability to be sexy regardless of age. It is an attitude and a way of being yourself. By the time a woman reaches this age, she knows what she wants, has been through the bullshit and is self confident. If she is lucky, she has not become road hard.
I have been fortunate enough to have gotten past the bad parts of my life and it has made me who I am and I have tried to make myself a good life. I am 45 and love who I am . That is the most important part of being sexy. Knowing yourself and feeling confident. If you are confident, intelligent and feel good about yourself, it really does not matter what age you are. You will be attractive!
The fact that I don't have a lot of wrinkles does not hurt either! LOL | |

Posted: 1/21/2009 5:24:38 PM | | I think it is a combination of many things physical, experience , different, it could be a number of things you never know what someones reasons are....i noticed by the age of 35 younger men were attracted to me and it has only increased... i recently had 2 ...18 year olds tell me that i was extremely hot and didnt look 41...its flattering to hear did i take them serious not entirely but they are sweet and talk to me daily at work... one has asked me out already not that i will go but it was sweet of him... i did however tell him i wuld go muddin with him... see there are ways to have younger men friends without the sex....will the issue come up again probably so im not stupid but they really are fun to be around and cut up with but i also know they are too young for me ... i dont think thats a bad thing just a good way to not hurt someone so impressionable and still maintain a friendship..... | |

To me, women between the ages of 35 and 55 are the sexiest. Particulary those in their 40s. Why? Many reasons...they're usually smarter, and to me...smart is sexy. Definitely wiser. Not near as prone to play head games w/a man. They're often more sexually agressive...that is VERY sexy to me. They understand men better, and know how to treat us...whether or not we need to be spoiled, or just the opposite. | |
