I don't see the difference between wearing skirts above the knee and shorts...I'm sure not gonna stop wearing shorts, It's been over 100 degrees consistantly this month!

I have asked a couple of men why men will closely watch a woman in a short skirt but not as much in shorts. Both gave me the same reply: shorts are shorts--if they fit right, a woman can bend over and still be modest, and the wind will not blow the legs of shorts up to expose anything.

On the other hand, when a woman wears a short skirt, there is the possibility of seeing up the skirt--she might bend over unwisely or the wind can blow it up.

I find that wearing a thin, long skirt is just as cool as wearing shorts or short skirt; I like to vary my wardrobe.

Well, yeah. As long as he doesn't cat-call, make a lewd comment, or display other inappropriate behavior, what's wrong with that? I am not going to avoid wearing something that IS appropriate to wear because men check out my legs or a bit of cleavage.

That is totally wrong! I am 50 and 150cm is way past my neck to my ankles lol. I'm also a dressmaker and I always advise my customers,depending on their height and figure-body type.For example Joan Collins is 78 yrs old and she looks fab wearing her skirts 2 inches above her knee..Enough said.....

I guess I don't consider two inches above the knee as being a mini skirt... I am thinking mid thigh... I agree a couple of inches above the knee looks good on most any woman... I wear shorts but not short shorts... and love my capri's... when its a 100 + nothing feels cool...

im 55 and i like dresses and skirts a little above the knee all women should get dolled up just for thier guy even if stayin home i know i get tired of seeing over sized sweats all the time. thats just me

Hey just wear what makes you feel good. If you get a few admiring glances why not. Just above the knee may over emphasise the knees. If you know how to do it mid thigh can look best. You'll have worked out how to pick things up without bending over and how to sit without giving the game away!
Just enjoy. If it makes you smile that's good too!

There is a formula for wearing skirts: Measure the inseam of your pant leg, subtract an inch for every year over 20 you are , until you reach 30, and that is how far from the ground your skirt hem should be when standing.

As short as you feel confident to wear OP. I have good legs and I wear very short sometimes, especially in the summer. I don't care about the age thing so long as when I look in the mirror it tells me I look great!

I also like long skirts and dresses and regularly wear those for my ballroom dancing. I don't let society dictate what I should or should not wear and neither do I let fashion dictate. I love dressing up and looking very girlie.

MOST men have very good imaginations. I've learned over the years that if you have VERY nice legs a man will ALMOST always imagine that your above the knee length skirt is shorter than it really is.

I will wear mine an inch or two above the knee. I would feel silly with it any shorter. But that's just MHO.

I believe you should wear what you like and what feels comfortable for you. I know I am older but I feel attractive in what I wear. Just because I show a little leg does not make look like I am trying too hard. My skirts are shorter but think I dress with some class.
