I used to eat them dipped in buttermilk that had salt and pepper added to it. I also like fries dipped in chocolate shakes. Ketchup in my ruffles chips. I used to eat those little frozen pizzas and dip my slice in red kool aid.

Yeah, so as far as I know, I can claim I've eaten kangaroo... not sure if I should be proud or not. It also wasn't very good at all.

So I wondered... what weird things or combos do people eat?
One of the most unusual things i ate was barbequed eel, it was actually pretty good.
Combos, sometimes with cereal i would take a scoop of Peanut butter and mix with the cereal.
What's with the cheese slice and apple pie thing? That has to be a up north thing because I have never witnessed that "defilement" of (one of the greatest deserts of all time )apple pie here in the south.

Posted: 6/20/2012 9:26:43 PM | | I love experimenting with all types of foods, At present...I have be enengaged in cooking authentic Korean meals...and I love it...I guess the weirdest thing would be the spicy fermented squid...I love octopus, my mother used to stuff it with shrimp, crab and sausage and smother them in a rich tomatoe based sauce which she would add cognac or cooking wine to served it over pasta...delicious! When you have a creole background...cooking just comes naturally...I actually make my own kimchi..which is unique and now the process has become much easier..I do it on a regular basis. Oh I've also had sharks fin soup...it had a familiar but somewhat unique taste to it...I liked it!

A few years back, I ate steamed cattails tops, with butter. The kind you find growing in the swamp and also have made coffee with some roasted dandelion roots. All good!
