Thanks 49, But lived over 30 years in the U.S. so my French is not that great either..However speak enough to somehow get by when I need to..

Posted: 3/7/2012 5:07:07 PM | Just to get an idea of the older men in my current area, I did a search for men, ages 66-99, 6 ft tall and over, who live within a 100 miles of me. There were 10 pages of some pretty fine looking men. Now, I'm engaged to the love of my life but, if I weren't, this area (metro DC) would be like living in a smorgasbord of attractive, active, older men. I'm sure there must be plenty of other older, attractive men throughout the POF membership. Such a shame that the great women and the great men don't seem to be meeting up.
I guess I must have been lucky. I've met wonderful men on this site who are seriously looking for long term relationships. They weren't looking for one night stands and they weren't users. They were terrific guys, many of whom went on to find the right women for them, just as I went on to find the right man for me. In many cases, we've remained friends and enjoy seeing each other in loving, happy, successful relationships. | |

For women I think that maybe 5o is a cut off point and for men about the same. I wouldnt bother with a man over 55 no matter how old I get so you are not the only one who wants younger. Most men do but whether you can get them is another thing. | |
