Posted: 5/31/2012 9:29:52 AM | I know it's a free site and we get what we pay for  but they make lots of money from advertising due to the large user base so some basic customer service would be nice. Does it take much to keep users informed about pending changes or technical issues that they are working to resolve? Nobody really knows what is happening. Did they reset things on purpose or by accident? Will the full history come back or not? Will it reset every 24 hours unless you become a paying member or is it an ongoing technical issue they are working on? Does anyone actually know what the deal is? Thanks for keeping us informed POF. | |

Well, I should say on my computer that is who has replaced the past individuals that would scroll across the top of "Viewed Me". Until now, even if people say the VIEWED ME feature is back to FREE, I still can't see anything on my page. Or did they delete all the previous views for anyone who was not paying? | |

So from my understanding- viewed me will still be free for unpaid users. The only difference is viewed me will reset every 24 hours for unpaid and erase the history. Essentially taking away viewed me but technically still being available for unpaid users.
Is there a post somewhere here saying that? As is typical with all changes, I can't seem to find anything relaying to the userbase what actually happened. | |

Posted: 5/31/2012 4:53:19 PM | They are just taking away from what made them successful in the first place. A site that was fair and easy to use to meet people. Now greed is taking over, more and more features that were free are being slowly removed.
Eventually the taking away of features will become their demise. Other sites will come up, compete and take away from what was the best dating site on the net.
They should offer new features and charge for them, rather then taking away the features which make this site functional.

I see everyone thanking admin for returning viewed me to free feature , if this is the case why isn't it working? I just clicked on it and it directs me to the upgrade page???
So when you are on your main page and over on the right side you click "Viewed Me" you are directed to a upgrade page or does it happen after go to the "Viewed Me" page and then click on "Click to sort users by the last date and time they viewed your profile" ?
If you click on your "Viewed Me" and you do not see anything there, it is because no one has viewed up since the data re set. | |

Because the users they view cannot see that someone had an interest in them and be able to respond. You get greedy and the whole system starts to fall apart.
Oh well ??? There are other sites to be discovered that will offer a better alternative this one is becoming disfunctional. | |

NOT worth paying for a service that shows people have "been online today" when in fact they have not. Just put your ads on and take advantage of the reasons many of us use this service over Match and other "pay" places. It is just not a long term good bet to charge for a simple feature. | |

Posted: 6/1/2012 12:36:11 AM | C'mon, folks, by now you should have figured it out - it's not another pay attempt! It's just good old incompetent user communications! Systems have problems - not talking about them makes them seem confusing and insoluble.
Note, folks: the across-the-top photos at the top of theViewed Me page are NOT people who have viewed you.
Almost every page has the random across-the-top photos.
On the Viewed Me page (when it works), the SECOND row is ONE ROW of people who have viewed you (IF ANY) - sorted by when they were most recently on-line.
Then, below the divider bar, there are several rows (IF ANY) of people sorted by when they FIRST viewed you, latest to earliest.
The "Click to View Users You said Yes/Maybe to AND they viewed your profile" and "click to sort users by the last date an time they viewed your profile" links have always been paid features.
CAVEAT: This is as I understood it, from testing and careful reading, before the "reset." Things may of course have been changed since then.
If, on the other hand, the Viewed Me lists are being purged daily, then it is indeed rendering the feature as useless as if it were pay-only.
