Been on a few dates...asked all the interesting women in my area to go out and got silence...no one left in my area new to ask out at this time.
So I discovered the forums some days ago and its an interesting place to hang out. | |

Some topics are talked to death. Some are intriguing. Some are quite funny.
Most topics need some common sense. That is why the forums exist. For the person to have feedback that might help him or her in their confuddled state of mind. | |

There are several regular posters that I really like, I find their posts helpful and insightful, there have been times that I LOL at some and others that I wonder how they even function, but it is always entertaining. | |

Posted: 5/13/2012 4:43:15 PM | I definitely love the forums apart from them being entertaining on occasion it also gives you a sense of satisfaction if you help someone who needs help, or you can have quite a lively discussion about lots of things i find. It's always interesting to read other people's point of view which may, or may not be the same as your own.
I do get my fair share of men contacting me, particularly young men, but quite a lot of men seem to want pen friends rather than relationships a lot of the time, maybe for an ego boost, but which defeats the object of being on a dating site i feel. I suppose it's what makes the world go round and i always answer a contact because i think if they have taken the trouble to make contact, they are worth a reply at the very least. | |

No longer single but I've just come back to see what's happening in the forums again. They really are the best formatted forums around and a good way to exchange ideas with people around the world.
When I was single it was also a good way to meet and get a handle on potential friends beyond the information presented in their profile. People tend to reveal themselves more when they interact with others I've found. | |

Now, I frequent the Forums and exchange notes with the Forum friends I have made.

I take the occasional look around at the people in my area. But I tend to only send out 1 or 2 first contact messages a year mostly here for forumns
But I figure I may aswell not hide my profile. As the old saying goes. Let your net always be cast and in the pool which you least expect their will be a fish.
I dont expect to meet someone online. But I enjoy reading the forums and theirs no harm In increasing my chances of meeting someone by keeping a profile on display I figure.
The way I do it im never disappointed with online dating. And when I do occasionally chat to someone I like and get a date its a great bonus. I still use Real life as my main way to meet women. This just increases my options and allows me to meet the occasional women I might never have met otherwise. | |
