Yes, some women aren't all that interested in men's 'nads and not sure how to proceed (light or hard touch), I'm just respectfully encouraging them to make the attempt upfront...if there is no attempt, then I communicate to them as I do like it very much.

I expect him to freshen up his parts just like I do. They don't have to be squeaky clean but if he's been sweating all day and hasn't washed up, he's not going to get as much action as if he cleaned up first. It'll be hand-work only 
He doesn't have to shave (that's the ideal) but it's nice if he trims his hair, same reason.
