| How Young is Too Young in a Mate?
Posted: 6/28/2012 3:37:48 PM | I'm 52, my oldest child is 30. I would never date a woman the same age or younger than my oldest child. On the other hand, very few women who are that age would date me so I doubt it will ever be an issue.
When I was 28, I dated a woman who had a son that was 26. When it was just the two of us I was fine, but once I met him it felt weird. Her son didn't seem to have a problem with my age but after I met him I felt like I should be with women closer to my own age. That's my two cents, hope it helps. | |

I'm tempted to take her up on it, even though it might be unwise, since not only is she a co-worker, she is my subordinate.
Still, I'm tempted. After all, as I look back on my life up to now, I'm impressed by the number of times that I did something reckless and managed to talk my way out of getting in trouble. I must be just persuasive enough to stay one step ahead of the law. | |

Posted: 7/15/2012 6:18:32 PM | being a cougar hunting for younger men is part of life now. men have been doing it for a millenia. don't subscribe to it, but it exists nonetheless. i just wish the women (spinsters / seniors) would stop viewing me as the possible younger man. do you understand what it would be like if say, a sixty year old man wanted to date you. or, as one younger gent stated, "sure... she wants to have a long term relationship with you. she can feel young again, polish the trophy for show and have someone to look after her when she is too old to get around easily." yes, isn't that somewhat unsettling.

the only picture this kind of activity would seem to paint, is a personal crisis or insecurity. either gender. | |

Pretty much my thoughts as well.
If I'm old enough to be their father it doesn't work for me and I struggle to understand how a bloke can go around with a lady young enough to be his daughter. In the instances of gross age differences I just wonder why this young lady would be with this much older guy?
There's plenty of instances of this of course, but the common denominator appears to be the bloke in question is filthy rich, not too many old poor blokes with gorgeous young women on their arms. | |

Maybe in your own head.
Your second picture certainly says you're 50, maybe you should put your real age on your profile and let your potential dates decide for themselves whether or not they will hook up with a 50-year-old.
It is dishonest to misrepresent yourself so blatantly on your profile like that, no matter how young you THINK you look. | |
