I for one would like to hear that! stick a vid of your attempt on YT and link it here! :)

Haha, no, I don't spend my time filming myself and posting videos or it on youtube for other people to laugh or to try to convince people of my awesome awesomeness. Star Wars Kid ring a bell? I don't want to go down in history as The Connery Kid

im not english im welsh lol

Well, I'm sorry I must come out in defence of English men. They're the only ones I meet too. You've been out with FOUR and say everyone is the same. There are good and bad. Unfortunately you are attracting the bad. I really don't know what to advise about that. I had problems with men wanting to meet at my flat, within the first few messages, but I politely refused. It was annoying but I didn't assume everyone was going to behave the same way.

I was kind of going to say the same thing. I've dated half a dozen guys that were English (though transplanted, so maybe that makes a difference?) and they were all awesome (no exceptions); so I haven'tpersonally seen what the OP saw in her rant...

Agree the persona and tone you put out on your profile OP is kind of your worst enemy.

Change that? You'll change your luck with the quality of people you go out with.

this isn't good then, because my heritage on my mom's side (full Norwegian on dad's) is English, Irish Scottish AND Welsh...

so does that mean I'm at war with myself? that would explain a lot... (and agree, he should keep the funny posts coming..)

VVV

we're not worthy; I'm supposedly related to British aristocracy too; (but also think there is a drunken irish potato farmer in there too)

I did the family tree with my sister. Seems we are actually descended from British Royalty ourselves. I'll shut up my family name as I dont want stalkers (or crying females desperate for my attention, AS USUAL, you know how it goes.... ) but apparently we were a noble family of royalists when the cut the head off of...I forget the name of the kind of england in the 15 or 16 hundreds. We fled to Normandy in France after that, and then eventually were the first pionneers to hit Quebec shores. So we ROCK
A couple years ago, my grandpa was called by the French governement in France and asked if he wanted to accept the Heritage of the family castle...naturally, he said NO lol. (Usually when you say yes, you inherit the castle...and the MILLIONS in debts that the governement spent to keep it standing, and unpaid taxes)

i mean is it a english man thing, treat eastern european women like dirt !!
I wouldn't have put it quite the way you have, but I understand your sentiment. It isn't about you being East European, there is a difference in the way English men behave in comparison to others, and it isn't always a favourable comparison. I doubt very much that it is something to do with your profile and pole dancing. Having said that there are a lot of non English men in the UK, and a lot of UK born men brought up in households with other influences and cultural references. An English man in my life isn't something I am used to or looking for, for reasons similar to those you posted.

Illegitimate royal offspring sent packing.

Unless they rebelled like the Duke of Monmouth. Then they were just executed.

Hey, I didn't say I was british royalty; just british aristocracy... huge difference... :)

this is clearly a english trolling board.

but at the end of the day everyone and his dog wants to live here!.

and a english guy will tell you how it is.

if you got a face of a bulldogs bum he will say so.

and if your personality is of a goldfish with fin rot then he will also say so.

I don't. It's a beautiful country, a nice place to visit, but too cold and rainy for my taste~too many gray skies. Was just there for 2 days last week, mid-June, and it was windy and rainy the whole time with not a hint of sun. : ( (Have been there many times before and stayed up to 2 months at a time; there's a lot of beauty and a lot intersting things to see in the UK, but, in general, the weather sucks.)

I think anyone who assumes an entire country or culture of people think and act in the same way is someone who is not using critical thinking skills: people are individuals. In every culture you will find good men, so so men, and men who are jerks. If you are only finding jerks, it's down to you, not to all the men in a certain culture.

So you object to people stereotyping English men, but have no problem stereotyping women in general, lol. Some women may not like the truth, neither do some men. Not all women, not all men, not all English people, etc. and so on, think alike. Stereotyping is stereotyping.

I find this so called "English" stereotyping quite prevalent in most of the Western societies/media,s outlook on the U.K.
The U.K is made up of a diversity of cultures and different ethnic groups.,whose "true origins" stem from the celtic,Welsh,Irish,Scottish ,Cornish ,...and English is a second language to many celts.Just making a point...:)

Guys are guys. Most of use are arseholes. (sorry fellas)

The decent guys are the ones you don't talk to/dont find attractive.

POF and relationship understanding is a tricky thing. When does a relationship get to a point when a profile needs to be ignored? If someone messages me (LOL as if!) should i instantly stop trying to talk to anyone else?

Also someone smiles at you and you get pissed off cause they have a ring on? Jeez its just a smile!

I am with you hun. The father of my child, who dumped me when I was 15 weeks preggers for another woman, is English. I have dated several English men in my life.. And while just as bad as Canadian men, seems to be a tad bit worse.

maybe you women are going for the bad boy type of men, and tall dark and handsome. You have yourselves to blame as well. I know this sounds like a crazy idea, but maybe give an average guy a shot? Just my 2 cents

Well I think its quite simple. You put in want you want out. If you get lots of admirers you have to take for granted with your pictures your making a statement. You look great and aren't afraid to show it good on you. But that comes at a cost. The cost is what your weighing up if you want an English guy, to build a relationship with. Then your statement with your poses is atracting one type of guy or one type of thing. Re evaluate the poses to just jeans and a basic top and your catch will change and so will your opinion, probably.

You probably only respond to messages from really attractive guys, who are generally ***holes - because they can get away with it. If you reject them, they'll immediately move on to (and probably score with) the next girl. Read the profile more carefully. Guys who are not so hot are usually kinder and more educated (survival tactics, lol).
