I put the phone away (as soon as I got done looking it up).
I love being able to whip it out to settle a debate or answer a question on the spot. But it serves me, not the other way round.
Part of it is an evolution that people must work through at their own pace. (Similar to posting in a public forum.) People with a gadget that's new to them will often obsess until they master it. Then it masters them. Then they return to somewhere nearer to normal. | |
