If you want to take the route of discussing it with the father I'd take the subtle approach.

You're daughter seems so nice. Any man would be lucky to be able to spend some time with her. You just paid him a compliment, his daughter a compliment and subtlety let him know you were interested.

If he loves his daughter he would want her to be with someone he thought highly of rather than some dimwit he doesn't know from adam. I hope your name isn't Adam.

If he doesn't bite he probably doesn't think you are worthy of his daughter. Most dads don't.

LOL okay, serious, serious. I don't know that there is really a better way, it depends a lot on the personnality of your friend. I don't know him, so I dont know his usual reaction tyo news. He'll be either the "hit me with it up front and be honest" type, or more a "I'll know it when I see it" type. It all depends on how well you know your friend.

...keep the car close, you never know if he's a gun owner


If you like her ask her out simple as that she is a grown woman.


Oh, and yeah, 'nuff said. Your friend has to understand this as well. Its not like she's 15...
